Can anybody offer advice on what building locations to request at Grande Vista.I have 4 children who like to swim but I don't want to be a "mile away" from the main building. Thank you

We stayed at the Grande Vista the first week in May. I think there are 2 other pools, in addition to the main pool. I know there is at least 1, because it was behind the building we stayed in. I will try and look for the resort map and if you like, fax it to you.

How old are your kids? We just returned from Grande Vista and stayed in Bldg 91. It is right by one of the "secondary" pools. We had requested this, as well as a top floor unit for the view and they were able to accommodate us. My kids are teenagers so I'd decided I didn't want to be by the main pool--those units were all taken anyway I was told. Our pool was very nice, with a spa off to the side, and never seemed crowded even though the Grande Vista was totally booked. I think the main pool has squirty fountains that appeal to small children. But even from Bldg. 91 the walk to the main pool takes only a couple minutes. I would highly recommend requesting either building 91 or 92 as we had a beautful view of not only the pool but the golf course & lake. They say at night you can see the Sea World fireworks but we were never back in time to find out if this is true. I was also told this is a newer building.

here's a link to it on the Marriott site. It was our second choice, we are trying Cypress Harbour this time instead.
