hi everyone. i am staying at por in early august and i am pretty sure that they do not have coffemakers in the room. can i request one and is there a fee? i drink about 6 cups of tea a day and having one in the room would be much easier for me than going to the food court every time i need hot water. thanks for your help.

I havent been myself, but i have heard from other posts that there isnt a coffee maker, but you can purchase a refillable mug for around 10 bucks, and get free refills all day on soda, coffee, tea, whatever you want. Hope this helps!

DH & I stayed at POR last December and there was no coffee maker in the room. DH has to have his coffee when his feet hit the floor in the morning, so I purchased a small 4 cup Mr. Coffee from Walmart to take on all of our trips. I usually just bring along a package of filter packs like Maxwell House. You might want to consider doing the same. We just pack it back in the box ready for the next trip.

All you have to do is request one and they bring it to your room:D ! No charge. They 'may" charge for the coffee packets. We have never had trouble requesting a coffee maker, iron, ironing board and hairdryer.

We requested a coffee maker when we checked in and it was delivered to our room. There wasn't a fee for it. It was a 4 cup pot.
