:bounce: :Pinkbounc :jester: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :earsgirl:  :sunny: :earsboy: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :earseek: :smooth: :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Just been to the beach to check it's still there and that they haven't put up 'no drinkin on the beach' signs. It is and they haven't .

The Cookson Festival programme is out and I can now announce there will be a 'Dream Kids' concert in the Park (tribute to Kylie,Blue, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Atomic kitten) at 2pm on the Sunday and Boldon Colliery Brass Band will be playing in the Ampitheatre at 3.30 - so there's summat for all ages there!

And Neil will be tryin to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows 5 miles away at Sunderland again on the Saturday and Sunday.

We'll be sittin ,drinkin and generally slaggin off all that aren't there from 10am Saturday till late Sunday evening - though we will drag ourselves off to various billets in between.

For them that like to know these things, here's the guest list so far. If I've forgotten anyone or got them hooked up with the wrong partner (again!) or, more importantly, got any of the kids' ages wrong- forgive me - I've been a bit busy.

Remember, if you can't come we reserve the right to speak sarcastically about you!

Mandy (and Mark), it'll only be nice things about you two, promise.

Trisha and Johann, the official Fountains booze-up is the Friday get-together but I'm sure, with so many of yer stayin there on the Saturday it'll be bouncin (in more ways than one) on the Satdy an'all. If I can persuade V to pay for a taxi, I might just trot out me Sinatra/Elvis/Robbie Williams repetoire for yers.:smooth:

I am sad to say that we are not able to make it.

The first reason is that we are still in the throws of landscaping (I use that term VERY loosely) our garden - time, funds etc etc.

Secondly I forgot we have tickets to see Neil Diamond on Saturday night at Earls Court and they cost me an arm and a leg.

Paul says the last concert he went to was SLADE! .... but I don't believe him I don't think he's ever been to one.

Forgot to say - HOPE YOU ALL HAVE AN ACE TIME:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Neil Diamond ? :o I'd rather see Slade meself. And how're yer copin without them arms and legs?

EDIT - Oops, the Wife's left her thingywhatsit signed on.

"Hello again" just thought I'd drop you a line to say even at the spritely young age of 33 I enjoy a bit of Neil and I hope that none of you find "love on the rocks" (if they have any rocks at the beach that is) at the northern meet and that you'll all be standing around "forever in blue jeans". I'm sure you'll all be discussing about "coming to america".

;) Couldn't resist

I love Neil Diamond AND Slade. In fact, I bought a Slade 'Greatest Hits' album only last weekend. I've had the Neil Diamond one for a few years now ...
