How is the weather the last two weeks of September. I am taking my three month old baby and I'm worried that it will be too hot!

TIA

Of course, no one can predict for sure. When I've been there it's still pretty darn hot. I'd be sure to have a plan to keep the baby cool.

We were there last year 9/20-27 and it was beautiful! Highs in low 80s, nights in the lower 60s. Very comfortable. But that was last year... you never know!!

I'm sticking with your forecast, Jen - those are my dates this year and that sounds wonderful! *fingers crossed* :goodvibes

I would plan to take a break between 12 and 3 it's the hottest and really humid part of the day. I lived in the area up until 2 years ago. I will be there for food and wine the last day of Sept. thru Oct 5. We always plan to go back to the room for a nap or dip in the pool. I always have taken a light weight jacket or hoodie (Disney) with me and have used it many times. I took my DD to Disney when she was little and we always followed this rule and survived. No-one want to have a meltdown in the happiest place on earth. Now even at 20 when we plan we always plan for the break.

Enjoy princess:

I was there last Sept. 19-28th. It was hot! 84-89 during the day, the evenings were better but still hot. I don't think the temperature got below75 at any point. It was also muggy most of the time.

Coming from 100+degree temperatures here in Texas this week 84-89 sounds like a cold front! I think my family will do just fine in the September heat.

We'e been to WDW 4 times during September or early October. The only time I remember being cold was early in the a.m. or inside a restaurant. The weather was usually bearable for us, but I do recall a few days when it was quite hot. The other thing to remember for that time of year is the likelihood of rain. We bring ponchos with us every day as it is very likely that there will be showers.

We usually go in Dec., but are sneaking a trip in this Sept. I will carry a lightweight jacket, but only for the restaurants, as they always seem so cold. Funny, in Dec. of 07, it never go below 85 the entire 10 days we were there. Totally unexpected!!

We were there December '08 and only one or two of the days were swimming weather. Every other day we had to wear sweaters. I think the highest it got was mid 70's.

Nice, jacket weather? I have never, on these boards, ever heard late September weather described that way. Hot, sweltering, blistering, take your breath away hot, comparable to vacationing on the surface of the sun - all of those I've heard. Nice, jacket weather, never. lol!

we were there last year late Sept, 2 days super hot, 1 day pouring rain, the other 4 really nice like mid 80's no humidty. But you never know, best advice go to the dollar store and by the cheap poncho's pack, best rain protection ever lol

That is the truth right there! We were there last September & holy cow, it was HOT! We don't have too much humidity in Seattle so we were absolutely melting! It looked so beautiful out @ 7am that I wanted to go drink my first cup of coffee out on the balcony @ Saratoga Springs & I opened the slider door & it felt like I was walking into a sauna! Bummer! Oh well, we're going again this September because we really love the lack of crowds!! :sunny:

I know! The heat was so bad in September 2007, we swore we wouldn't go back again in September. But, here it is, 2009 and we are going back. The free dining discount saves our family of 6 almost $1,600.00 - it's just too good a deal to pass up, burning up or not!

I'm starting to wonder if we got a deal. We are renting points so we don't get free dining but the money we saved on resort rack rates makes up for it. It worked out to about the same difference.

We couldn't believe the low crowds! That's our biggest draw this time! The wait for most of the rides were just the time it took to walk from the entrance to get on the ride!! Totally worth the sweltering heat to us! We are going to take big pool breaks in the afternoon to cool our jets every day & hopefully that will help! Let's keep our fingers crossed for cooler weather! Like around 75 would be awesome!!! :rotfl:

We've traveled every Dec. for years, and 07 was the hottest I can remember. The morning we left they were expecting a cold front. My mil had to make a trip to Walmart for shorts as I only had her pack a couple. I felt so bad!!! With our Sept. trip this year, I told her, pack tons of shorts, not pants, and a rain poncho or two. Watch me be wrong again!!!
