Introducing Piglet to WDW...PTR 10/25-10/31

Hello All! Thanks for taking a look-see at my PTR. This is my 1st attempt (at a PTR not WDW) and I'm very excited about it.

So lets get right into the particulars.

The Who

Me, aka Katie, aka the Disney-obsessed one in the family. I'm 30 and have been in love with all things Disney since I can remember. We only took one trip to WDW when I was young. I think I was 9. It was a day trip & here's the only picture I have of that trip.

DH, aka Wes...He's a little bit of Sleepy, Donald Duck and Goofy combined. He's 31 and didnt find is love for Disney until our honeymoon in 2006 :scared1: But to his credit he has quickly recovered and is ready to go anytime I get that Disney Itch. He will never admit this but he gets a little misty eyed at the end of Spectromagic Parade:smickey:

DD, aka Lizzie, aka Lou Lou, aka Piglet. She is 8 months this coming week and becoming quite a handful. As I write this she has tried 3 times to hit the button that turns off the computer!:eek: Ok...4 times now. We call her Piglet because that is the 1st Plushie she grabbed and played with by herself. She always tries to bite his nose off. Well maybe not bite, but gum his nose. Here's her Piglet pictures:

I know that What is missing but, well, that sees really obvious:lmao: Officially we are 7d/6n MYW with PH and Basic Dining.:cool1:

When: October 25th thru the 31st

Where: So originally we booked POFQ. I was super excited about staying there. We've never stayed moderate before but this one looked fun to us. From what I read it had its own bus system & rarely shared...plus that slide looked like so much fun:rotfl2: Then a few weeks ago I got a FD code emailed to me. I called and after some explaining, had it added to our reservation. They couldnt understand why my name had changed. When I signed up that email I used my name...well I've gotten married since then so its not the same. After jumping thru some hoops and a little pixiedust: We dropped our cost by a little over $500:banana::banana::banana: Now you would probably think we would upgrade...not us. DH & I started talking about it...what would we miss if we downgraded to POP? Well mainly that slide...but would we really use it? After some discussion we decided that most likely not. So on the phone again I changed our resort. Yet another $400 savings. I had also originally booked the water park option on our tickets but after much debate we decided with a 1 yr old we will probably only hit 1 one park, if that. So we dropped it & decided that if we go we will pay OOP.

I think we are done changing now. All this made my head hurt:headache:

The Why:confused3. After our honeymoon we said we would go back every other year...this is our 4th trip in 3 years:rolleyes1. DD turns 1 on Nov 2 so we will do a little birthday celebration there with just the 3 of us. But mainly we are celebrating our 3rd Anniversary on the 28th. Its kind of special to us because our honeymoon we were joking that hopefully we would take an extra special souvenier home with us. Unfortunately that didnt happen and a few months later we found out that we will never have babies the old fashioned way. Fast Forward 2 years and some help with IVF...we are finally taking our own little princess to WDWprincess:.

Up next: The Plans...now if only we had park hours.

So here are my tentative plans...all subj to change when making ADR or when we finally book our flights. I'm still waiting for Southwest to come down a little for that.

Sunday Oct 25
PM EMH at HS so depending on what time we get in and how tired we are either that or DD. Its kind of a tradition for us to do HS on our 1st day.

Monday Oct 26
Breakfast at CP
MK day
Take a break early afternoon for naps & some pool time then go back for PM EMH

Tuesday Oct 27
Epcot - FutureWorld in the AM
Early afternoon break pool time
Dinner 1900 Park Fare
MNSSHP

Wednesday Oct 28 - Anniversary:love:
Sleep in day
Epcot - World Showcase
Dinner Le Cellier
Possibly hire a babysitter from Kids Nite Out for the evening

Thursday Oct 29
Depending on what we did arrival day we will either do HS or MK
Lunch or Dinner at 50s Prime Time

Friday Oct 30
AK
Breakfast at Tusker House

Saturday Oct 31
Chef Mickey Breakfast
Poss MK depending on what time our plane leaves
