flood at HHI

Just got back from HHI. we were in the GV in building 19. What a great place. On thursday at around 4 a monsoon hit and dumped a lot of water. I was walking in shin deep water. The parking lot was fine. It was just the paths. I had to go get the luggage carts and pull the rest of the family to the cars. We had a great time.

Sorry to hear about the flood but we were just there a couple of weeks ago and know how much HHI needs the rain. We were hoping it would rain a little bit while we were there so we could see the resurrection ferns come to life. We went on a nature tour and Chef Gordon said the resorts highest point is 4 feet above Sea level. Glad to hear it didn't spoil your fun.

We have been to HH 4 times and every time it rained hard there were large puddles on most of the walking paths. CM's usually roped the area off if it was too large to get through.
