Hi
Thought it would be fun to see exactly which park is the top of the pops.

It might be a nice idea to post your reason/s, they don't have to be logical, it all comes down to personnel opinion.

Mind is IOA as we first visited it the year it opened and the colours in the park were so fresh and new. We also met up with friends from home and it's the only park we have ever done that at so it's another fond memory on the tick list.:)
It also helps that my favourite park restaurant ( Mythos) is here.

Hollywood Studios every time :goodvibes I know some say it's a 'one day if that' type of park but not for me! I can and do easily spend 2+ days there, love doing a split day with Epcot and taking the boat :)

I love DHS and Epcot, I voted for DHS though, we also split are day between the two, love the rides and DD loves the shows at DHS. DD hates TOT though:sad2:

It's a very close call for me between MK and Epcot! I've gone for Epcot though, as after my last trip there (being a little older) I have a new appreciation for this park.

I really enjoyed the updated rides they've put in there and found the 'exploration' within each area much more appealing. But, the thing that astounded me more this time, was the World Showcase. Wow, such a special area. There's so much to do and see and learn about.

We spent a lot of time wandering around WS and finding all the hidden treasures that is has to offer. And Epcot now holds my favourite restaurant too - Le Cellier! I adored it in there, was such a lovely place to eat and we were treated wonderfully by the CM's. I even found a new taste for red wine (totally by accident) whilst eating there!

Very close but Epcot won over DHS just by a small percent :)

Ive voted for Epcot - I just love it there and could spend hours just wandering round in World Showcase and chilling. I find it a very relaxing park.

I voted for Hollywood Studios - but I haven't been since the name changed from MGM.

I don't know why I (or we as all 4 of us like this best) chose it but we just feel so much more comfortable there. It's a much calmer park than the others, less rides and more shows, we love Sci Fi dine In, the shops aren't overwhelming, the theming is lovely and it's just nice.

We try to do this on our last morning before heading off for the airport. It's a EMH day on our last day this trip, so I'm not sure if we'll do it that way this time.

P.S. I've just noticed this poll closes on 27/7 the very day we're heading off to WDW - woo hoo!

Ooh that was hard! :upsidedow I was torn between MK and Epcot but I chose Epcot in the end as I love the atmosphere there and just generally wandering round popping in and out of the countries. :cool1:

Seaworld.

I'm obsessed with dolphins and manatees and i could happily give Disney a miss and visit here every day. This is the one place i yearn to go back to most days.

I love Disney, but my all time fave has to be Busch Gardens as a self confessed adrenaline junkie the thrill rides at this park are miles ahead, plus the animal part is fantastic for the kids! :)

It's great to read everyones take on which park they like and why, gread thread Tony!

tough choice but EPCOT came out on top for me. I love world showcase- it is so relaxing to visit so many countries in the space of an evening and illuminations is incredible. We wnet on our 1sr trip during the flower festival and I would love to go again when this is on, also the food festival version is great too :woohoo:

This was very difficult as I really love Epcot but Animal Kingdom just tops it for me. I could spend all day there watching the tigers.

Another MK versus Epcot dilema here, in the end I just had to choose MK. For me the feeling you get walking down Main Street just can't be beaten.:cloud9:

It has to be MK, that's what made us go to Florida in the first place, as MK was Disney, and that's what we had been dreaming about.

It doesn't disappoint :)

I'm with Gems on this one, Busch Gardens. I think it has everything, great rides, Animal displays way better than AK, superb tours, best of all it only costs £22/year(£44 for 2 years) to add on our 2 year Seaworld passes.

I guess DS would say Epcot and DW MK.

Epcot is a park thats grown on us, our 1st visit 16 years ago as 4 adults we didn't enjoy it at all, said it was the worst day out of the holiday, now we enjoy every visit.
A little surprised Universal has no votes, before spending so much time at Busch Universal was my fave park.

DH and I were discussing this last night, as we were saying that when we booked our lastminute trip for December 08 we were more than prepared to only visit Disney parks for the whole 2 weeks, and normally we would have gone to Universal too, we didn't want to spend the extra $$ on tickets when we weren't that fussed to go as we knew we were going again this year.
I just don't think Universal has the pull now that it used too, we used to love it and it was a must do but now not so much. :confused3

OK, so I know I'm not properly qualified to vote in this one as I haven't been to FL in donkeys years.

But I hope you don't mind me taking part!

I voted MK, as I have been recently to DLP and DLR (and US hollywood) and I jsut love love LOVE the feeling I get on Mainstreet. I love it SO much, and always feel as if even if my trip were just that one first walk down Main Street with a beautiful castle ahead of me I would be more than satisfied!

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I can't wait to get there! (And to see Spectro and Wishes too!)

I am really excited for AK too though.

I've got 2 favourites for 2 different reasons.

DHS because its our favourite FAMILY park - the boys adore Star Wars and Power Rangers and the car stunt show etc so that park I love because the boys are in heaven.

For myself I love Epcot, the combination of the rides and the worldshowcase I like very much.

My least favourite is probably MK followed closely by AK.

I have not been able to make my mind up over this for the past few days. :headache: For me it's between Epcot (my new found love for World Showcase), DHS I love so many of the rides/shows, Seaworld as I love Killer Whales & Dolphins, Busch Gardens as they have such a great mix of animals & thrill rides & then MK which I eventually voted for.....my reason is it's the one park that makes my spine tingle with excitement when I walk through the turnstiles & I always get a lump in my throat when I walk down Main Street towards the castle, it just gives me that Disney "nothing else matters in the world" feeling. :cloud9: It always makes me cry when I leave there for the last time of the holiday.

Epcot is by far my favourite park. I love world showcase, the theming is fantastic. I also find it to be quite relaxing and the park absorbs the crowds really well.

My least favourite would be those two - we don't spend much time at AK, maybe half a day and MK was a bit of a let down however we still love some of the attractions, its just the theming that lets it down for me.

Glad its not just me, our first visit to MK was a massive shock and let down after visiting DLRP. We can spend a whole day at DLRP without having to go on a single ride as there is so much to look at while at MK we just go for the rides and shows, if that makes sense.

Although I voted for Magic Kingdo, I have to say that mine changes with every visit. On previous visits, I would say that IOA was our favourite because of the thrill rides. When we went in August 07, I loved Epcot because we could just stroll around and take it easy, enjoying the atmosphere.

But, since going with Daniel last year and experiencing the sheer enjoyment on his face at Magic Kingdom, this is my current favourite.

Could all change again in October so watch this space :rotfl:

Do you think its whichever you visit 1st is usually your fave? especailly if you have been a few times and know the park inside out.
Our 1st was MK, DL Cali was great but not the same as MK. Freinds we have that live in CA say after visiting MK it doesn't compare to DL Cali. Also know 3 familes thats been to DL Paris after MK and preffered MK.

I don't think this is necessarily true. For me the first park I visited was DLP and I really love it and think it is way better than MK in Orlando. However, it would not make it into my top three. Those would be:

1. Seaworld
2. Epcot
3. Disney's Californian Adventure

DH likes Disneyland California even though his first visit was fairly recently and he had experienced DLPR and all the theme parks in Orlando before this.

My favourite MK (and overall Disney park anywhere) is Disneyland California, yet it was the third one I visited (DLP first and WDW second which I would say I like about the same) It's the original and IMO the most magical because it was Walt's park :goodvibes

The theming at Paris is amazing, MK looks plastic in comparison. I think going to MK for the first time make some of us who also love DLP appreciate how amazing DLP looks. For me MK is just about the rides while at DLP I can walk around and not go on any rides as there so much detail. I prefer spending time at Epcot when at WDW than MK.

I think a lot of people prefer MK because it's in florida.

I am sure they do. Florida is obviously more than just MK, or even the 4 Disney parks, enough to keep us going back time and time again, even Cali after 2 trips is enough for us(for now) so where the other parks have to hold up on their own MK is part of the package.

A real tough one this, voted MK because in recent visits I've opened my eyes to a lot of things that I'd initially missed. For me it's the real essence of Disney, nothing beats walking through and getting that first view down Main Street...
