Prayers needed for a dear Dis Friend... UPDATE: SHE IS HOME!

I am friends with a very special Dis poster. She is going through some very serious medical problems right now and is in the hospital in intensive care:sad1:. It would mean the world to me if you could take a minute of your day and say a prayer that they find the problem and our friend will be back posting soon. Thank you for understanding that I can't post her name.

I thought a little update was appropriate. She was in a medicated coma for a few days and they are starting to wean her off those meds. Hopefully she will do well and get out of ICU sometime this week.

Update:

After being unresponsive for a few days, they ended up doing surgery to relieve pressure (it's a brain/spine thing) and I am awaiting an update from her husband. The drs. said her vitals were good during the surgery and progressed to better while the surgery was taking place. Hoping that this may start her steps to recovery. Please keep her in your prayers. This road is going to be long and I am sure she needs us every step of the way. Diane.

An update:

My "Dis" friend has finally been released from the hospital. After a surgery later and more most likely to come, the Dr's are optimistic. I am sure she will be back posting in a bit and will update everyone when she is ready. I want to personally thank everyone for their prayers and would just ask that you keep her in your thoughts during her recovery time. May God Bless all of you and remember she is also praying for all of you here who need it. Diane.

I am home, resting, getting back to it all, thank God. It is not easy, but I am taking it one step at a time, instead of trying to do it all at once. I have since learned my priorities.

I had some neurological nightmares, and one surgery so far, with one more in the not so far future.

God is good and really does answer prayers (and you know that from my thread too). Please take care of yourself, and yes, one day at a time. Let everyone pamper you! so you can heal.

I am sure it must have been hard for your family too. (I dont even remember being in the coma, and I hope you didnt either, the ICU was o.k. though. Sorry also that you have to have another operation. I pray things would go well and that you would heal quickly. Blessings to you always.
