Thought I would share some Michael Jackson footage I found on youtube of his visit to Disneyland Paris in 1992.

Thanks for sharing that. I would love for the Walt Disney Company and Euro Disney SCA to bring back Captain Eo..even for a limited time period as a tribute to him.
I understand that the guy had some personal issues but he was an amazing artist...I compared him to being my generation's Elvis this morning and I still think it's true.

By the way how great would it be to be allowed to watch the parade from the balcony at City Hall like MJ did! That would be totally awesome. I love the little backstage boogy with the characters too!

I completely agree!!! I was in primary school when his career was at its highest and we all listened to his songs, danced and sang... I will always remember that! Beat It, Dirty Diana and the rest...
He was a fabulous artist regardless of what people think, noone can replace him!!!
He was a freak with lots of issues but all famous people have issues... I never truly believed in everything the press said about him. I also think he was pushed into a corner by Martin Bashir (sp?) which only added to his stress...
Sad sad sad...

Looks like he had the first ever 'fastpass' eh?
Would've liked to have saw him get on Crush Coaster though, even he wouldn't have beat the queues. :rotfl:
Great share and as said it's a sad loss to the music industry.
Capn Jack, that's exactly what I said, it's like Elvis again.

LOL............I did wonder about that guy in the Asda queue ahead of me.
I said to him "That was terrible news about Michael Jackson wasn't it?" and he replied "Uhhhhhhuhu!"

That's quite an interesting video.
The characters of old are interesting to see - both how the costumes have evolved and also how they've changed the characters who are around. I've never seen Jiminy Cricket in the parks in the nearly 7 years I've been visiting DLP, but he's there in that video :)

Jiminy used to appear in both parades and often could be found in Fantasyland. and listen to how awesome the marching band used to be. I had the pleasure of meeting Micheal a few times including at DL and DLP. He will be missed.
