On Thursday, June11th. THey had been together for 12.5 years - John was only 33 when he died, so that is like 75 in gay years!

Anyway, being beyond a *** hag (I actually have a real straight husband!) I have long lurked on this wonderful board, and I don't really know where else to turn for some support.

I feel a bit better just having written this.

Thanks,

Mrs. Spratt

Thanks for all of your kind words - they mean so much.

We go to Pride every year, and it is on Saturday Night - I think I might cry a bit, but it will be worth it.

Your wedding TR has been keeping me sane at work. (I'm still mad a the crasher, and I would just carry a thak you note with me EVERYWHERE so you can take the high road and show her what socially correct behavior is really like....)

Thank you to everyone for your kind words.

Your wedding TR has been keeping me sane at work.

I'm not sure how all that insanity is helping you stay sane, but I'm glad you're enjoying it! :thumbsup2

Well, first off, it was beautiful, second off, it was a great love story, 3rd off I'd rather be crying happy tears then sad tears.

John drank himself to death at the age of 33. We knew it was coming, we just didn't know when.

I found out how southern I really am when I threw a perfect service/reception in 4 days...Momma would have been proud (if she hadn't been on her great summer jaunt with Daddy.)

He didn't NEED to die, but he had lost the will to live.

It seems like people on this board value and cherish life daily, which is why I wanted to post here.

Thanks again for listening.
