My parents are staying a week at the end of Sept. in a camper. I was thinking of renting a cabin to be at the same resort as they are and will be traveling with a 21 mo. old and a 6 year alone.
How hard is it to navigate the resort? Is it a hassle to get over to the area where the camp sites are? How is the transportation?
My backup choice is at the Contemporary, but I was hoping to be closer to my parents (who can help on the buses, etc).

The campground is relatively easy to navigate, but if you REALLY wang to be closer to the parents....rent a camper for yourself and yall can be right next to each other. www.CampAtTheFort.com rents a very nice, large, and new 5th wheel camper and you come out cheaper than renting a cabin. You get the benefits of camping without the "roughing it" aspect...and you get to be in the middle of all the fun, instead of stuck in the rear of the campground where the cabins are.
Another great rental site is www.******************** , they have a nice pop-up camper that is perfect for a family your size.
The owners of both companies are regulars here on the DISboards, and come very highly recommended.

I agree with Rog!! However, if that is not your cup o tea or if they are booked up during your dates, you could get a cabin and request 2100 Loop and your parents would need to book a Premium Loop and request 1100 Loop. Those two Loops are in throwing distance of each other and some campsites actually back up to some of the cabins.
