Yachtsman or Flying Fish

We are able to do the DDP deluxe for 1 night, last day paying with cash instead of using DVC points.

Which one do I choose? They both look SO yummy!

Yachtsman is so good it is some the best steak I have ever ate in my whole life. That would be my vote, but I have never tried Flying Fish.

Depends on if you are wanting Steak or Seafood, Yachtsman is known for it's steaks, Flying fish has excellant Seafood. Me, I am a seafood lover so it's always Flying Fish. I love thier potato encrusted snapper! DH loves steak so he chooses Yachtsman. Thier filet is excellant. Somehow we always seem to eat Yachtsman since they do somtimes have a scallop appetizer that can satisfy my seafood craving. ( the Beef-pork choices at Flying Fish are ok but not spectacular). :hippie:

My husband and I both agree on this one; Flying Fish is much better than Yachtsman. We have dined at both on many occasion and even our worst experience at Flying Fish has been better than our best experience at Yachtsman (not that Yachtsman is bad; it's just not as good).

I have never eaten at Flying Fish, but my best meal to date on WDW property was at Yachtsman's Steakhouse. Looks like you're going to have a tough decision to make!

I debated this same question when I made ADRs for our upcoming trip. After reading all of the dining reviews and studying the menus we decided it would be Flying Fish for us. It was actually the more unique kids menu that won us over.

My wife and I are having the same dilemma for our upcoming trip in December. Both restaurants are 2 credits on the DP and both get pretty good reviews. We tend to prefer steak over fish so we've currently decided to go to Yachtsman steakhouse but as we've sill got a couple of months before we can book it we may well change our mind.

We prefer the Flying Fish. In fact, I'll be on the DxDDP for my Sept/Oct trip and plan to dine at several of the Signature restaurants. The Flying Fish was first on my list. I love steaks, but was not impressed with Yatchsman. Of course, I live in Texas and have really good steak restaurants on every corner. Yatchsman does have a seafood salad appetizer that is delicious though.
