Can you take non-flash photos during Cirque?
Thanks!

No photos are allowed at all. Not even before the show starts.

Nope! No photography at all. From what I understand (I posted this question a while back because we'll be going in December) it isn't a problem to take your camera/camera bag/tripod into the theater, but once you enter there is no photography. Apparently, they are pretty strict and even before the show starts, you are not allowed to take any pictures.
HTH!

Edited to add: I see someone was faster than me! Hope this response helps regardless!! :goodvibes

DANG, that sucks. I was really looking forward to maybe getting some good shots of the show. I'm sure they have a book that you can buy that shows some of what goes on.

yeah they have a program type thing, probably why they don't let photos so you have to buy it....although you just know if they did let any photos some guy in the last row would try to use his flash and kind of ruin the effect of the show

jann1033, that is so true! I have been to different events where they do let you take photos, such as different Disney on Ice events, and I have had people sitting around me asking me why I'm not using my flash:lmao: Well, let's see, way up in the stands in an arena, your itty bitty flash is only going to bounce off of the people's heads in front of you, not light up the ice rink down below? But, I know not everyone knows that, but it just makes me laugh to myself.

I'm sure it's not the only reason or non-flash pictures would be allowed, but flash can be very dangerous to performers. Some of the things they do require tremendous concentration. A lot of times they make it look effortless but it is not. My daughter is a modern dancer and has told me how it feels when a non-expected flash goes off. I always respect the no flash or no photography rules.
