Yes, you are.
I used to type it into into my phone, but I quit. Despite not being able to remember anyone's name that I haven't seen at least 100 times, I have an uncanny ability to remember parking areas. At the end of each Disney trip, I've been able to recite to my wife the section and row of every parking space we had every day of the trip.

:rotfl: Mark, I'm the same way......
That said, I still do take a photo with my celly. I don't do it with my camera because by the end of the day the photo would be a PITA to search out through all of the photos I took for the day.
I use my camera- My cell phone has pathetic bokeh.

Very nice shot Jeff! I don't have any from this year's trip because we took Disney transportation...however from 2005 (never thought I would show anyone these)...

We have a ritual of making the young ones, 20 somethings repeat the name because their memories are better. If it is just the two of us we will tell each other what it is.
Now something we will do.... If we have those in our group who do not have annual passes, we will take a picture of the back of their pass. If you have the ticket number much easier to get it replaced if lost. That has saved us several times when people have misplaced that several hundred dollar hopper! We have just walked up to customer service shown them the back of the camera and gotten new ticket!

You are not the only one to do it, but you definitely do it with the most style. Everest in the background!? That's really cool.

You're not the only one! My son always snaps a photo of our row number.

Plus looking for a rental car is too hard amongst all of the cars there!!

It is very rare when we drive to the parks or even have a car at WDW but when we do we take photos of where we park. Taking WDW transportation works for us, it is very difficult to misplace the WDW bus! ;)

I started taking pictures of my rental car, the license plate, AND where I parked because at the end of the day I could remember the area (Donald duck, whatever), but all I could remember about the car is that it was white. Do you have any idea how many white 4 door sedans are parked in one area???? I started pushing the panic alarm on the key fob until a car responded. How cool am I??? :cool1:

OK, I guess you aren't the only one. It was admittedly easier for us as we had a white minivan with a large rooftop cargo carrier. That made it easy to see over the crowds. It wasn't quite as noticeable as when we have the canoe on the roof, but it was close.
As for the buses, I instinctively try to avoid mass transit. It's sort of a Texas religion. All that swine flu and lower gas usage....ugh.

I do note my airport parking location when I fly somewhere. I remember coming back late from a labor day trip up to Colorado. I told the bus driver (satellite parking) I was parked in B5. He drove to B5 and it was nothing like where I'd parked. I stared dumbfounded for a minute and then swore to him that it was in B5 but it wasn't here. Without batting an eyelash he said that it was probably in the other B5 and drove us to a different parking area. Those idiots added overflow parking for the holiday weekend and resused the stupid letter/number combinations.

I place a google map waypoint on my Iphone, email it to my wife(just in case), and then the GPS in my phone will take me straight to my car.
