Remember the bokeh experiment someone posted here back around christmas? The photography club I joined does a monthly contest, and this month's theme is bokeh. I took some pictures that had a nice bokeh effect, but it made me want to try again to do the shapes! I was just playing around to see if I could make it work, and I realize these aren't fantastic pictures, but I am thrilled to see that it worked! I'm going to try again in the morning when the light is better, but here's what I got this evening:

Hey, those are COOL!! I've been having lots of fun getting regular bokeh for the monthly contest. Having even more fun getting MICKEY shaped bokeh!!

Jeff, your picture is soooo cool! How did you do that? I remember seeing it when you posted it around Christmas too.

Ok, I got to play some more today. Still not 100% pleased, but we're getting there...

I liked the bokeh effect of this one, but I couldn't get far enough away from DD14 to have her in focus, close enough for the flash, and far enough away from the lights to get exactly what I wanted.

This one I just wanted to see if it would work... just need to add my puppy to the picture!
