From what I have read and researched we will be dining at Triton's the first night. I intend to have my family dress as requested, suits, nice dresses etc. If I do not take these clothes with me in my carry on what are my chances of them not arriving in time for us to dress for dinner? Is it really in my best interest to have the clothes with me?
I anxoiusly await your replies ... we leave tomorrow.

just wanted to check , and there it was ... so we brought it home...

I have been on several cruises now, and this has never been a problem. I think most of the luggage is delivered in time for dinner clothes.

Please don't worry, even if you are dining in Triton's, the first night of the cruise is always a causal night, just in case people do not receive their luggage.

Just got my tickets from my TA and she had a funny story to tell about this. On her first cruise she was dressed all in white cotton. It rained big time, her suitcases didn't arrive before dinner, her clothes were see-through wet. Sounds like a good excuse to buy a new outfit, huh? :)
Anyway she now always packs a change of clothes, just in case ,in her carry-on bag. She did also assure me that dinner the first night is casual regardless of the restaurant you're in.
As a Mom of two young kids I never wear white. (Handprints show up just when you don't want them.)
