we did it that way last year ( changed at Paris ). we got off the train at paris and stood on what seemed to be an abandoned platform with two other english families. there were no signs ( that we could understand anyway ). i asked a cleaner who spoke no english, so still none the wiser. a guard told us that there was a train due for disneyland soon on that platform ( or thats what he seemed to say ) in one hour. we weren't 100% convinced so we went went up a lift and found the busiest railway station ever ! i found the information desk who were extremely helpful and spoke perfect english. they told us where to go. we had to copy what other people were doing with the tickets i.e putting it through a ticket machine so it stamps the date etc.
the train from paris to disneyland was a nightmare tbh. the seats which had been allocated on our tickets weren't near each other and there was already people sat in them, and the train was packed. after walking up and down the carriage with the bags and three kids we found some seats with a table and plonked ourselves down ( obviously in someone elses seats ) and just stared out of the window pleading ignorance.
the journey there took about an hour ( i think ). once we were there though it was fine. I think it was a bit of messing about with the lifts but we were off the train and out to the shuttle buses within 10 / 15 minutes.
moral of the story ? get a direct a train if possible. I'd feel more confident changing at paris if we had to but this year we're going to set off earlier and get the direct train.

Im confused now. My understanding was that the Eurostar to Paris went to Gare du Nord and you needed to change here onto RER. This means going by metro from Gare du Nord to one of the other stations on the RER line. The RER doesnt have reserved seats so Im not sure how else you got to DLP.
The OP was asking about Lille though which I understand is quite a simple change that people on here have done but some have also been told they dont need to change and just stay on the Eurostar to DLP

we got on the eurostar at st pancras, got off at lille.....then onto the DLR from lille on a normal french train. the seats definately had numbers on as we had a french couple trying to tell us that we were in the wrong seats by showing us their tickets. i thought if you stayed on a non direct eurostar from lille you ended up in belgium (!)
as i said.....go direct :thumbsup2
hopefully someone will be able to clarify

Also confused as we have travelled to DLP both via Lille and via Paris Gare du Nord in the past. Changing at Lille is far easier as you will get reserved seats whilst as mentioned going via Paris requires a trip on 2 RER trains on which you cannot book seats.
Have travelled via Lille a couple of times to DLP and a few times to other destinations in France. When you arrive there on the Eurostar you just need to go upstairs to the main concourse - which is above the platforms at Lille station. Your ticket will have a TGV train number on it - just look for this on the departure boards to find which platform your train is going from.
You will have been allocated seats on this train and whenever we have booked they have always been together although we have always booked direct with Eurostar. I know some people have had separate seats when booking travel through Disney.
Although people often do sit in other seats if they are empty, especially if they are table seats, we have never had any trouble with them moving if you get on with tickets for those seats.

Most of The Eurostars that stop at Lille are going to Brussels but the direct Disney train also stops there. For some reason Eurostar and some travel agents sometimes sell tickets that involve a change at Lille even though you are travelling on the direct train. These are the people that have been told they can stay on the train.

:rotfl2: lol...
we're going direct this time...which means we'll be at DLR by around 14.00. also, we're going to pay for the disney express seperately ( £15.00 ) as we book our travel direct through eurostar and the hotel through the Disneyland website.
