I was just wondering if anyone has been to the magic kingdom dessert party at the noodle station before? Is it worth the money and what kind of desserts do they offer? I was very upset when they closed this off during last years trip!:sad1: It seems they will be closed again except for the dessert party. Thanks!!

I don't think they have started the Magic Kingdom Dessert Party yet. I think they start taking reservations on Monday, June 22nd.

It doesn't start until late June. Due to the price, I doubt I'll do this. I love sweets, but can't eat $17.50 worth of it - even at a buffet.

I think I'm going to call tomorrow morning and make reservations for this for our July trip. It takes place at the Noodle Station at the Magic Kingdom. They will have a buffet of desserts and drinks that they will start serving one hour before the fireworks start. The cost is $17.99 for adults and $9.99 for kids. I think we will make dessert our dinner for that night!

I'm actually GLAD they're doing this. There are times when we take newbies that we need to watch the fireworks and/or parades, but i HATE, HATE, HATE, staking out a spot to do so.

Most the of the "private" viewing areas are just that, very private and unless you book through convention events, etc, it's impossible to get into one without a big cash outlay.

I'd happily pay $18 a person every once in awhile to be able to see the fireworks without staking out territory and guarding it from interlopers for several hours.

I called right at 7:00 a.m. this morning and was on hold for almost 45 minutes before a CM answered, but I got my reservations for July 24th! My oldest daughter and her husband will be going down with us in October, and she is really hoping that they extend this past August...she loves Disney desserts!
