OMG Kell! It was great!! I had an amazing time, I'm so tired now though and I lost my voice while I was there but it was soooo much fun. I went with my favorite aunt and we had the best time. It was her 1st visit so we tried to see as much as we could, so we were litterally running around everywhere we went:rotfl:

THE PT is really putting her thru the paces

had her in the pool for 45 minutes yesterday really working the muscles and on balance.

The new meds seem to FINALLY be helping

IT is SLOW GOING really slow

But we are pretty sure we are on the right track now

If not before we are looking at DEFINATLY back to school by Jan 1.
start fresh with the new semester

Ok I'll do a mini trip report here from what I can remember:rotfl:

day 1 November 4th 2007

it was a looooooooong day:laughing:
I had to get up about 3:30 in the morning so I could shower and get ready to leave for the airport by 4:15. It was kinda hard to get up that early but with the extra hour of sleep it wasn't so bad. I made sure my Aunt was up and moving then got dressed myself. I was really surprised we were out of the house on time:thumbsup2 that never happens when I go somewhere with her:lmao:
My aunt was nervous b/c she's never flown before, but we had a great smooth flight, and an even better landing! I was soooooo happy to be in FLorida again! I haven't been there since 05 and couldn't wait to hit the park.
Before we knew it we were on the ME and off to the boardwalk. it was really easy riding ME and I'm glad we used it again:thumbsup2

about 30 min later we were rolling up to the Boardwalk

it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything was perfect! Now being the smarty that I am I wore flip flops to the airport so it would be easy going through security at the airport, but brilliant one that I am, I forgot to put running shoes in my carry on so I didn't have any shoes to wear to the park, so we decided to grab a quick lunch at the boardwalk bakery

Since we were on the dining plan it was really super easy and we got a TON of food. We each got a Turkey and Provalon panini, a bag of chips, a drink and a dessert

after we dumped our carry ons we headed over to downtown disney for more shopping, and they had CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS OUT!! I was soooo happy!! I love Christmas anyway, but a Disney Christmas! Is there anything better? I DON'T THINK SO!:rotfl:

day 2 November 5, 2007 The day I've been dreading for years! The day I turned 29:scared1:

So it's Midnight and I get a birthday serenade from my group of crazies:rotfl: as much as I dreaded turning 29 this was the best birthday I've ever had in my entire life! It was soooo much fun and I'll NEVER forget it!

so we had a little bit of a tippsy walk back to our rooms and 1 stop on the way to cram 6 people into a photo booth:lmao: you can't seen anyones faces in those pictures:lmao: I'll have to scan them to add later but they're soooo funny!

by then all the fastpasses for the safari were taken so we had to use the standby line which took FOREVER! we had a 45 min wait, but we really wanted to go on. We saw sooo many animals, and the zebras were so close I could have touched them if I had wanted to! which I would have loved to do

but I was kinda in a rush b/c I had to meet everyone for our fireworks crusie after dinner at the contemporary resort. I figured I would get there early b/c I just had to jump on the monorail, but I forgot it runs from the Poly to the Grand Floridian then to Magic kingdom THEN to the contemporary, so I was almost late to the cruise!:scared1: lucky for me I got there just in time and it was so much fun! totally worth the money!

after the cruise was over we all went to Jellyrolls on the boardwalk, but I was sooooooo dead tired I had one drink and was falling asleep in my chair so I had to leave everyone early. I really wish I had stayed b/c I've never been ther before and I had just paid to get in:rotfl: but I was completly useless as tired as I was. anyway we're were doing Epcot the next day and I wanted to be ready, so I headed badk to my room to sleep

Epcot!

I love Epcot even though most people seem to be kinda down on it

I woke up early that day, and sat on the balcony for a little while while my aunt was still getting ready , we had a beautiful view

Broke a club in two and put my ball right next to a guys cart as they were teeing off. :rolleyes1

First swing of the first hole and I slice my brand new Pink Ribbon golf ball into the driving range. :headache: DH told me it was gone and I couldn't go and get it. :mad:

Needless to say I used crappy normal white balls after that.

Day 4 November 7th, 2007 - Magic Kingdom!!

Ok so the other day when we were at Animal Kingdom, my aunt stopped to check out the little DVC booth they had set up b/c she was really loving the BWV, she set up an appt. to go to the open house and get info on joining the DVC, yes people, I've created a Disney monster:thumbsup2 which is fine with me b/c she's like a mom to me, and already told me whenever they go I can go back with them!!:yay: so anyway!

Woke up early again but didn't go to the Boardwalk Bakery:rotfl: why b/c I had ADRs for breakfast at Tony's townsquare with my crazy Banjo Frog band friends:rotfl: my aunt had her open house for the same day so we made plans to meet in the magic kingdom by Mickey's phillharmagic:thumbsup2 it was FREEZING that morning, but I figured it would get warmer as the day went on, but I was wrong
woke up and was ready to go!

after that my aunt was hungry b/c she hadn't had breakfast, so we headed over to Pinochhios for an early lunch

I ate the half of the half of sandwich and I was done! I felt bad wasting food, but it would have taken forever for us tohead back to the room so we had to dump the rest:rolleyes:

after that things took a turn for the worst! We headed over to splash mountain and the stand by was only 5 min. I know it was a little cold, but SM is a disney classic! you have to ride it when you go, we had to do it especially b/c it was my aunts 1st visit! so we get in line and the ride goes fine TILL the end! we got stuck! 3 boats from the loading dock the ride completely stopped!:eek: :eek: I wanted to get out so bad but they wouldn't let us out even though there was a platform that we could have stepped on to get out, so we're sitting there freezing with the wind blowing on us shivering in the boat. Finally after half an hour they took us out of the boat. The ride was still stuck but I didn't care I was just happy to be off! They didn't even give us a fast pass to ride it later but whatever I was just happy to be off!,

after that we headed over to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad!!

after we rode Space mountain and what we could in tomorrowland, we headed to the Crystal palace for Dinner, of course by then it was soooooooo freezing cold and i was STILL wet from sitting on splash mountain forever that I was shivering cold, so I had to go buy me a jacket in the gift shop next to Casey's, I love my jacket but I hated having to spend $60 on it!!

We had a bit of a wait till our ADR so we watched the show in front of the castle from the porch at Crystal Palace!

I got DH hooked on the Dinning Plan-and Crystal Palace-but for Breakfast-it was so so good!!!

We're not planning another BIG Family trip til Nov when DS is back from the Middle East!!! But I might slip in a quick weekend in Feb or Apr -we'll see

As for Aug-that would be hard to do since the Kids start school the 2nd week(13th or 15th one of those days)

Oh and we're having Marinated Steak tips and mashed potatoes!!! Yumm!!!

well today is hopefully the day I'll find out more about the health aide job... do I have it or not? The posting is down and I'm going straight in to the principal's office this morning to ask her about it. Man, why am I so nervous??!

I have an interview with another school tomorrow. I doubt I'll get it... it's the attendance clerk position and they are in high demand... AND they have to hire union people before non-union (and guess which one I am). I am really blessed to even get a call for an interview. I know some sub secretaries who have been working for 4 years that have never even gotten an interview yet!

Today is the start of parent/teacher conferences and I volunteered to work the book fair from 4-8. So, I'm working from 9-3:30, then dropping the kids off at home, then going back for the book fair. AND, somewhere in there I need to find time to make cheesy potatoes to bring for dinner for the teachers. I think I may come home on my lunch break (the big 'ol 30 mins I get) and put them in the oven on low. I'm thinking 250 for 3 hours would be ok right?

Just checking in!! Andrew and I found a nice (affordable ;) ) oceanfront hotel on the ocean in Daytona Beach. We're only about 45 minutes north of Port Canaveral. :cool1:

We're going to try to get up in the morning to watch the sunrise!

Traffic was pretty good, except for the last 75 miles. They are doing road work and working on it at night, so there were barrels and flashing lights and police and spotlights and what a mess!!! We really dawdled all day, stopping whenever we wanted, and it was a very stress-free drive.

We're not planning another BIG Family trip til Nov when DS is back from the Middle East!!! But I might slip in a quick weekend in Feb or Apr -we'll see
