Linda: Glad yer feeling better.

Oph: Happy belated b-day, ...feel better soon.

Everyone else:  ...HOWDY!!!!..and lotsa   ... Been crazy busy this week. Still trying to figger out where to send the kid to school. She missed getting into the magnet school by 2 points....is on waiting list at 2 other schools, waited too late, everyone full up...has another interview at a school on Monday....left it too late I have...bad mommy, bad mommy...

Saralinda had her "graduation" from Kindergarten today. Her last day of school is next Friday, but the graduation and parent lunch was this afternoon. She has the cutest pictures of her in a graduation gown. It's darling.

Have had crazy busy week, school shopping, working, life in general...

Tim coming home tonight!!! :cheer2:  :yay: ...late flight, doesn't get in until almost 11:00 p.m. He will be home until Sunday.

Nothing much new really, kinda boring life these days I guess. I sure do miss all of you guys. I feel so out of the loop sometimes. Lot of you live close enough for gatherings from time to time, but I live so far away.

When's this fabulous reunion Christmas cruise? Ya lucky ducks!!! Are you literally going to be on there for Christmas day? Wish we could go :guilty: Eat a souffle for me. When Saralinda and I went before Christmas it was so much fun, all the decorations, so festive. Good times, good times. We weren't there on Christmas day though.

Beanzie!!!!!! :cool1:

JoJo: Call me sometime!!!!

Okay...that's it I guess

:cool1: Happy Friday :cool1:

Tomorrow is Kingsburg's big Swedish Festival. Our little town turns into a zoo with out of towners (which is good for the economy :thumbsup2 )

DS has to march in the parade tomorrow and then we will go view all the booths etc. At least the weather cooled off a little...yesterday it was 100 degrees and Saturtday is supposed to be around 85 (much better for the band marching in their uniforms....hot hot hot)

What is everyone else doing this weekend??

Cheri: ditch the regular family members, bring the kids and come Christmas Cruising with the Croutons!! :thumbsup2

Happy Friday cruise buddies! Yanno... since November, I've had our collective cruise pictures as my screensaver. Yesterday, for the first time I think, I couldn't look at them when the screensaver came on because I miss it all so much. :sad2:

So... I know some of us are getting together in a couple of months, but since I'm going to be taking my Comps for my Masters Degree during the middle of the trip, it's not really going to feel like a vacation. So... we need to start working on a new plan. :teeth:

Wanna hear about Disneyland? :cheer2: Who invited all those people?? Huh? Sheesh! Dumb people walking 6 across makes me wanna smack 'em upside the head.. It was Disney! We walked when the parade (don't like parades much, but there was Minnie and the dwarfs and URsulA, etc)was starting.*** Had lunch with some DIS friends from the Mexico cruise.**** They had a 3 year old so my "old children" had to suffer thru Small World and Tiki Room.---Got out of the Tiki Room and

Not sure how it happened. Not a legal holiday. No one conferred with me. I know what happened: don't go with Ronnie, don't get no Dole Whip! ... Note to self....

Whew! I had forgotten how much fun it was. I swear, even at 35, I still get all kiddie-weird every time I walk under the bridge into the original Magic Kingdom. ok I'm 36.

Only thing that would have made it better would have been if it was a weekend with all y'all. (Think they'd close the park if Beano called and said, "Ya' know we got the Crouton's, the Knebel's, the McDougalds (if Johnna stops tiling her house), the Dolacks, the Noakes, the Vasquez's skating in just for this, Merrill-Huie-Gennaro bunch willing to give up time preping for hurricane season, Pam's family reluctantly leaving Johnny Depp in Tortuga, (Sue Ellen arranging all the flights - hers included) - just so we can come spent money with Mickey. Hmm Cheri... I love you. You crack me up and make me smile on Monday morning.

Okay... :sunny: It's Monday Cruise Peeps! What say we nudge 'er out of the way already?

Now, is it just me or are the news people all whack about Hurricane season? I mean, I'm all about being prepared... but is it necessary to "scare" people? :confused3 Then again, I understand about some of these other places in the country where nothing has happened lately (and even some where it has). They're in the "can't happen to me" camp. Some of those people do need a shock to get in the spirit. But this is Florida... typically if people here can afford to prepare, they do.

Johnna - My particular obscure reference was to Gwen Stefani's newborn baby... which she named Bluebell Madonna.

Yes, Bluebell Madonna.

She named her child that.

On purpose.

Not a cat, or a parakeet, or a racehorse, but a child.

A human child.

Bluebell Madonna.

OK both way bad names I agree. But this one here reminds me of that game you used to play when you were just a wee child. "OK, Everytime I say something, you say "Inspector ......"

Anyone remember that? :rotfl2:

Up to...up to...what have I been up to? Cursing the people who started VMK cause that is just darned fun to play sometimes. Um gearing up to paint the master bathroom :thumbsup2 (yes, Neil is going out of town. How did you know? ) Um..trying to plan a girls weekend with my dearest cruising friends from San Diego and Kingsburg. Watching neighbors landscaping going in around her pool. Coffee. Lunch. Laundry. Croquet in the rain.

Going to cabin this weekend. Beano if you are in the Whiskers Campground area continue up road to Central Camp. Look for my truck. Big cabin in middle of camp. Used to be the loggers store and restaurant. Can't miss it. Tri tip dinner on Saturday night. Ok See you there. :thumbsup2

Yes, RJ, there is indoor hot water! :thumbsup2 So you are invited too. And heck bring those oh so adorable little creightons with ya!

Gotta talk to SueEllen. Going to WDW in November you know. Don't have ressies yet.

That is it. :smokin:

Tomorrow...coffee. lunch. laundry. Costco. Target. VMK, VMK, VMK. :lmao: :sad2:

Tenny - call me or I will call you! And you know I will.

That is all.

Johnna out.

RonnieJo66
05-24-2006, 08:11 AM
Johnna: Does this mean you have a new obsession? :lmao:

I have never tried VMK. What do you do?

So, you're going to cabin in the woods...

"Little cabin in the wood
Little man at the window stood
Saw a rabbit hopping by
Knocking on the door
Help me, Help me, Help he cried
Or the hunter shoot me dead
Come little rabbit, come inside
Safely here abide"

OMG....I was pretty sure Taylor would win once they knocked out Chris, but thought the final two should have been Taylor and Elliott. Thought the Meatloaf duet was dreadful...possibly worse than my singing on the boat if that's possible....thought they were both bad, but maybe Kat was bad because he was throwing her off key....Wondered a bit whether they could hear the band, or if their earpieces were working or anything....Dionne was good except for her last note....

Gave Miss Judit a choice for dinner, she chose Friday's. Gave her some flowers and a cake, and for her present we gave her a spa day with massage, facial, mani, and pedi. I hope she likey.

Tim's would certainly be non-DIS appropriate. For instance... "Nice hammock... wanna ****?" Although, it also might have something to do with karaoke.

Still waiting for countertop guy to come back from vacation. Then he has to take exact measurements...it's a Corian countertop to cover my ugly mauve bar area.

:furious: Getting mad at painter...I have called him like 5 times today. No answer. He better come around or I will find someone else!!

Don't these people know that they're supposed to be available when I want them to be! :lmao:

Today was "Portfolio Day" for DD at school. It's kinda where they show off specific papers, projects etc to local business people and get interviewed. All the boys had to wear dress shirts and ties, and the girls had to wear dresses, skirts or blouses.

:thumbsup2 DD did outstanding....she got a "5" rating...thats the highest you can get.

I took a picture of her this morning in her suit....she looked too grown-up. I will try to post it later.

:grouphug: Hope everyone is having a good day :sunny:
