Now I can only drink decafe green tea with honey.
Took me forever to ajust to the taste.
Oh I almost forgot I'm also allowed to drink WATER.

Guess it was old time cursing in the Deep South (she's a native of Atlanta and went on her 1st date with my grandfather to stand on Peachtree St in downtown Atlanta and watch the stars of Gone With the Wind go to the movie premiere!) She's a wild lady and still teaches 4 year old preschool 4 hours 5 days a week at age 82! She'd fit in great with the DDA. She rocks, and y'all would LOVE her!

OK so you know how these lil tweens (not teen yet lol) thinks we embarrass them right. Like my son once told me "to loose the hat ,please" when I was dropping him off one day. Well my DD(12) went to the mall with me today... wearing a "get up" that is her own lil style! She wore a mans pink tie she bought, and a black shirt ... and topped it off with this surprise.... a plastic tiara Yep she walked around the mall in her own fashion! Oh and if I tried to wear a barrette she would have something to say :rotfl: Too funny how they think we embarrass them!

I have never been but I have heard that Royal Carribean is great for kids. They are going to have a new boat that has a surfing wave machine on it, plus a small water park type area. Plus most of theres already have a rock climbing wall, ice skating. They also still have Broadway style shows, just no Disney Characters.

I actually met some people on my cruise in September who don't like Disney but where on the cruise with their family. They had cruised other lines but actually liked Disney the best.

Our first 150 points are at BCV and then we bought 50 more points resale at OKW. That's our favorite resort for so many reason. The extra 50 points allows us to book 11 months out.

You said it -- they're going to get your money anyway. Think of it this way, it lasts for about 40 years, and most people pay it off in under 10 years. That equals about 30 years of a free room in my lame head. I can justify anything that can be equated to free!!

Actually in the villas of DVC, once you set the temperature, it is not hooked up to the motion sensor. At least not at OKW. But you're right, Disney will do anything to save a buck!!

ditto on the valet at beach club -- we knew all the valets by name and that was something special. It does make your vacation that much nicer to me.

The ONLY thing we miss when we stay at OKW is that you don't walk through a lobby to get to your room. We felt more in touch when we walked through a lobby (like at the deluxe hotels). If you had a question, you could ask a CM right away as you walked through the lobby. It led to more interaction with guests as well and we enjoy that.

Denise only lives about 8 hours away give or take for traffic. I have driven to and from Orlando to places in Georgia many times. It is not that bad, although with 3: 5 year olds that is a different story. Movies are a kids best friend on long car trips.

Yes, I live in GA. We would drive, but we got free airfare. And it's the kids 1st time flying. I think they're as excited about the plane as WDW. And yes, we have a DVD player in my mini van. I don't know what I'd do without it!

We've come to realize that the home resort is important but not earth shattering. We've never been unable to book where we wanted, even when we booked six months in advance. But we do try to go off season (you get more for your points that way and less crowds). So if you want to be at SSR until 2054, go for it. Ours is up in 2042 I think.

If you buy at SSR - you get more time!! I think it is at 50 years - so 10 extra years -not a bad deal!! You can book at the other resorts during non-peak season with little trouble at the 7 month window - BWV has a non-preferred view for less points - that is why I wish I owned there

Just ran home to wrap the b'day presents. All 3 have double ear infections and sinus infections. Davis' is so bad we have an emergency appt with the ENT tomorrow at 2:20pm. He may have to have surgery to close the gaping hole in his ear drum next week before he's allowed to fly. They all have tubes, but the infection was so bad it completely ruptured the ear drum (very large hole).

So, giving them all Advil for pain (they don't have fevers amazingly) and will go to the party and eat some cake and pizza.

Would appreciate any PD you have.

Just back from the ENT. Well, she ended up seeing all 3 of the kids. Bottom line is they are all three having surgery on 11/23 (day before Thanksgiving) at noon.

OK so you know how these lil tweens (not teen yet lol) thinks we embarrass them right. Like my son once told me "to loose the hat ,please" when I was dropping him off one day. Well my DD(12) went to the mall with me today... wearing a "get up" that is her own lil style! She wore a mans pink tie she bought, and a black shirt ... and topped it off with this surprise.... a plastic tiara Yep she walked around the mall in her own fashion! Oh and if I tried to wear a barrette she would have something to say :rotfl: Too funny how they think we embarrass them!

She is reading this now and enjoyed the picture I took of her to show you all too! This girl LOVES attention :teeth:

To figure out how many posts, go to the main page of the forum http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=105 and hold your mouse over the little envelope to the left of this thread and it will tell you.

About getting tagged, it's under your user name. Looks like you've been tagged also! ;)

This is cool! We will be there, but not on Friday and Sat is filled already! We will be there for the MVMCP on Thur so I dont want to be there again on Fri. Plus Sat MK is opened till 12am ,so I am sure we'll hop back at night. Bummmer! I know, how fun huh!! Very appropriate for the deer for me, yesterday I waited 3 hours for the ins appraisor AND got up and showed early on my day off! I coulda slept in! I was tired last night and missed all the fun! Oh ya, NO reindeer games for me this year!

Did I mention DH is a hunter and "got one" THE SAME DAY I GOT IN THE ACCIDENT with one and now that is another 500 bucks before my trip.... DEER ARE NOT MY FRIEND! My car goes in Monday for 500 of repairs, and in Jan it goes in for body work too. This deer has been a huge pain! :rotfl: Ok, off my rant for now!

It's because you're across the pond. Black Friday is the day after our Thanksgiving Day, and the official start of the Christmas shopping season. People get up really early, and go shopping for the day. There are some really good sales, but too many people for my liking. Just another crazy thing for us Americans to do!

People get up at 5am or whenever the shops open and just mob the stores. That is why I will just not go out that day. Too many past years of working retail and in restaurants. How is a girl ever supposed to get her master's degree with all the pages she has to catch up on each day?!? :confused3 Seriously, you all crack me up! I'm supposed to be writing my term paper for my reference librarian class, and it's dull and boring. However, you all have been so chatty, and hilarious that I can't seem to settle down to my work. If I don't get my Master's, can I blame it on T-shirts???????

By the way, I'm approaching the 2nd week after surgery, and I'm now officially 1/5 of the way to my goal weight. 21 pounds lost and more to come! The only down side, is that I had to give up my Diet Coke forever. Please don't banish me, Queen Kate! I can't have carbonation anymore! That makes me so sad. You don't know how addicted to Diet Coke with Lime I was. Now it's just water and Crystal Light for me. Who knew that a person could get so sick of water?

Well, back to the paper. I only have a few more days to finish it, so wish me luck. I can only work when the twins are napping and the other 2 are quiet, so you can imagine how often I get to work on it!
