I don't think that is CS2. I checked the Adobe site and the CS2 CD's box has CS2 on it. This one didn't. I did a search for photoshop and it came back with 3 places that sell photoshop at 90% off the normal price. That's where I got the price and info from. One of the sites said that the CD did not come with manuals or books and no online help from adobe. Is this any easy program to figure out? It did come with a 1 hour instructional video. Is there a "help" tab in the program or a tutorial? The info says it original, unopened packaging......

Please, please, please can you help me impress my new boss and co-teachers? I got a new job teaching pre-school and started this week. It's my first time working outside the home in 5.5 years! I also just accepted a job teaching the prenatal classes to twin and triple moms-to-be. (I'm an RN)

Anyway, each class has a "Snack bag" that goes home with the child responsible for bringing the snack to school the next day. The bags are canvas totes, and I am responsible for decorating both toddler classes bags. One is bright green, and one is royal blue. I was getting out my fabric paint, when I thought of the pillowcase idea. Why can't I do something similar for the bags?

So..... would you creative people please help me make a great transfer to put on the bags to wow everyone?!!! You know how it is being the new person.

I teach the toddlers, so they are little (1-2 years old). I figured they'd love a Disney theme snack bag! Lots of bright characters and colors and says maybe "Feed us" or something else creative??? Also, need to say at the top of the design"Toddlers" and on the other one "T-2"

Anyone care to help me? After I transfer the image, I'm going to add the glitter paint and maybe some puffy fabric paint.

So, since DW was out enjoying the early evening with DD, I had a chance to play around on the computer afterwork. Will this work triplefigs?

It doesn't look legit. Do a Google search on buysusa and see what comes up. Apparently they are making illegal copies of the software and selling it to you.

Hopefully it would still include the help files. That'd be weird if it didn't. So far as it being easy. Well, it really depends on how easily you learn and how much time you have to spend on it. If you've played with other photo editing programs, that helps a lot. Which reminds me, the first program I ever used for photos was called PhotoStudio by ArcSoft. It came bundled with my first computer. Just another option for those who are starting out: http://www.arcsoft.com/products/photostudio/

The first, can someone (I think is Kate's design) change the text to say "Lookout Rock 'n Roller Coaster... Here I come!". The "Lookout" line and the "..." for on the top and the "Here" line for on the bottom. And then change the font color to a solid color and use the Disney font, please? I've played around with it but about all I've got a handle on so far is adding borders, but hey, it's a start!

The second, this clipart pixelates (sp?) for me, can someone fix it so that I can take and work with it?

I'm going down in October as part of a group of twenty. We decided to wear matching shirts on 4 or 5 days, so we needed 80 - 100 shirts. I searched eBay and bid from one of the sellers listing bulk T-shirts. Turns out he has a web store.

If you want the link, you can PM me for it. I'm not sure if it's proper to post it here.

I've made a few orders and was able to receive heavy, Fruit of the Loom, 100% cotton, white T-shirts in all sizes. You can buy them by the dozen or in any quantity you want. They are new, and not irregulars. He sells colored shirts, tank tops, golf shirts, etc., too. I have always received the orders quickly.

I've been able to purchase 100 T-Shirts of various sizes for an average of $2.80 each, and that included the shipping charges.

Hope this info can help my fellow T-shirt addicts. :grouphug: I'll post my shirt pictures when they're done!

First, let me say how inspiring this thread has been. So much talent. I am awed.
Now, I have a question, perhaps someone can send me in the right direction.
I am trying to make a design for my son. I am using Indiana Jones as the theme. I have a clipart of the Indiana Jones Adventure logo but I am worried when it is enlarged it will show the pixels. How do I fix it so it will enlarge correctly? As far as programs, I have Print Shop Deluxe (not much help) and my son has some program on here called Gimp 2.
I really appreciate any help.
Another question, I know it has been mentioned here somewhere but finding it will be hard, what program do you all recommend?
Thank alot for any help.
Smiles,
Diane =0)

In Printshop -after you import the design, right click on it. Choose "size" and pick what size you want your design to be - full page, 1/2 page, 1/4 page, etc. or custom.

Okay...I hate to ask, but I have tried everything I know to do and the poor program I have on my computer will not do what I want. There are several pictures of Mickey on a yellow background with blue boarder that says "walt Disney World", one with Minnie and one with Ariel. I would like the disney font with Chris on the Mickey one, Kelley on the Minnie one and Morgan on the Ariel one. You guys do so much I really hate to beg....but okay, I'm begging. I promise, I will ask for nothing else. If you cant do the disney font, there is Minnie with "stephanie" on it that has a hollow font that is colored from a yellow to red. I know I'm not making much sense but I'm about to tear my hair out trying to do this. God bless you people who are doing this stuff...you're awsome.

I loved the Beauty and the Beast bag, but don't think 1 year olds will understand. So, I made Pooh for them. One class is blue and the other is green. I thought they came out really cute.

Any special tips for doing transfers onto canvas tote bags? I know I'll need the Avery dark shirt paper, hard surface to press, and a hot iron (no steam). AND PRACTICE ON A SCRAP PIECE FIRST!!! Anything else? These will be my first transfers, and I only have the 2 bags. I can't mess them up!

The colors are N Carolina blue, black and white. If you could do those colors it would be awesome. If not the one you did is just as good and I'll definetly use it. I'm not telling her about the cheerleader one's, those are going to be a surprise. Can't wait to do all these shirts, I have to go out and buy more shirts and paper. We're going to be there 9 days so it looks like I'll end up with shirts for everyday. I might get you to do one for me that matches that says cheer mom. My kids have had to ask me the same question more than 2x just to get me to respond. Don't go! I just got here! Well, I have to go now, b/c its late and my eyes are a bit dried out. BUT, I will be checking the thread tomorrow. :cheer2:

Well since you asked J&N's mom. I would like some other ideas for pin trading shirts? My favorite pins are Figment, Eeyore, Jiminy, Dumbo, Bambi & Tink (in that order). So while I love the shirt that has mickey/minnie trading pins, I was hoping to change it by adding other pin traders. But all I could find was chip n dale. whining I am, I admit it. :rolleyes1
I went and bought Photo Impact, so I can make the starburst & blue cloud backgrounds. I bought Print Artist Disney Print creations, Collection 1, another Disney clip art collection and I finished my homework assignment due tomorrow. So all I have to do this weekend is make t-shirts and study for a test on Monday, (whatever possessed me to take this post-doctoral course I will never, ever know). I will be reading the photo-impact manual and playing with it this weekend. SOOOOO, if you could find it in your heart to steer me in the direction of some clever ideas and pin trading clip art, I would be eternally grateful. Now what that means escapes me as I am already eternally grateful for all the other designs you did. :rotfl2:

Thanks so much. Penny

by the way, I just found out that I am going to be organizing a trip for my nephew who is graduating from GW next spring. For his graduation present his DM is sending him to DW. He is trying to talk a group into going down over spring break. & I get to make all the arrangements and get to go along as tour guide (but can't get in the way :rotfl: ).
so you see, I can't go anywhere after my trip because I will be planning another trip and will need tshirts for a bunch of 21/22 year olds.
You can't get rid of me that easily she says with a very sly grin. :rolleyes1

Kate - you're right - there are three "r"s in Merry. My daughter wants "2005" added. Thanks.

I've actually become a little better at doing some designs myself since I gave up on PhotoImpact and learned a little more about the Print Shop 20 that I have. It's not quite as over my head and I've learned it does a lot more than I originally thought. As long as I can find clip art that doesn't have little white boxes (clear) I'm doing pretty good. I can't post pictures of any because I don't know how to get them out of Print Shop and on here, but after they're on shirts I'll take digital pics and try to post them. Of course that might take awhile since we're not going until December. I'm making lots of designs so we can choose some of mine, some of yours, some of Midnite's, etc. Wish we were staying longer!

If you want to branch out away from Disney, we're going on a cruise in October on Holland America Line's Maasdam. I'd love some shirts for that!!

I have been DYING to do a Kim Possible shirt - my DH loves that show - I saw Rufus at Big Lots for $1.99 - like a one foot tall stuffed Rufus that talks but Julia didn't want it - I told DH about it - guess who MADE me go to Big Lots one day so he could get it for his desk!!

I learned something tonight. It probably isn't a big thing to the experts, but for all you newbies.
I went to art/photos and hit backgrounds. I found a really cool background, called angelic abstract. It was too dark for me. I tried bunches of things to make it lighter. This has been a problem for me with other backgrounds also. Well, if you go to the effects drop down box, hit tint, you can change the intensity so it becomes lighter. you can also change the color. Now all I need to do is find a starburst pattern & I will have accomplished a lot for one night (at least in my limited world :cool1: )

I tried to post a question the other day and also today (new threads) and each time my post went poof :wizard: Today I actually I got the message box that said I had already posted the same thread within the last 5 minutes :confused3

So I guess you are all stuck with me posting here and oohing and aahing over all the designs. I really don't need anymore shirts but I've thought to myself "Hm, who can I make and give a shirt to for Christmas?". Then I started thinking - how about aprons for myself, I'm kinda messy in the kitchen. I could have different aprons for all the different seasons or an apron for each day of the week! Now, what else could I make?

Mom of 2 - I love the design for your coffee can. We use a very large water jug. We have managed in the past to get it about 1/4 full & we had over $500. We are now saving for spending money for an Ireland trip (DH is Irish), but I am putting the sign on there anyway. :cool1:

Belle 0101 - We had our german shephard/lab mix (we rescued her) for about 2 weeks before we had a name that fit her. Her name was Princess, but DH refused to call her that. :confused3 He said it was too girlie & besides that we already had one princess in the house (me :wave2: ) and he didn't need two princesses to cater too. We decided to name her Kismet, as it was fate that we found her. When we brought our cat home 10 years ago, he was without a name for almost a week. He would ran around the house causing havoc where ever he went, so DH named him chaos. That's where I got my name from Chaos (from my cat) Cent (from one cent - my name is penny) :smooth:

I have a new audience for all your wonderful designs. My 2 yr old just crawled into my lap and want me to show him all the designs. He likes naming the characters. I have a request for all you talented designers. I am planning to have 3 pillowcases magically appear for my boys along with a birthday cake. I would like each of them to have a different character. My oldest son has his room done in the western Mickey theme as Mickey is his favorite character. So for Nicholas I would like something in a western Mickey design. My middle son Hunter's room is done in Winnie the Pooh's Blustery day theme. He has loved Pooh since birth and as he grew older we redid his room in Spiderman, but he hated it so we redid it in pooh again/ :rotfl: My 2 yr old Colby has a little tykes race car bed with the toddler comforter that has little race cars and motorcycles on it. His room is light blue with a beautiful sky/cloud wallpaper over the top half of the walls. It is such a peaceful room. I was thinking Buzz for him. He likes Mickey too, but I was trying to do different for each boy. I want pillowcases that they will be able to use at home afterwards and do not really want them to say Happy Birthday or Walt Disney World. So now that I have thrown out such a difficult request are there any takers? Thank you all for your time and talent.

I need to do a shirt for DNeph's actual birthday day, which we'll be celebrating at Universal - that way I can add a Spidey/Wolverine shirt that says "Today's my 8th Birthday !" to the Disney shirts that just say 'birthday trip'. TIA for a design or any help finding clipart. :smooth:
PS: I'm finding the designs that have a 'frame' much easier to work with when transferring.

Baloo would like to keep this thread all Disney - so you will need to send a PM to ask someone to do something for you

I have done non-Disney shirts and would be willing to

:wave2: Hi everyone....this thread is great!!! I just found it when looking for ideas for our next trip (end of sept. into Oct) because it's kind of a special one (though what WDW trip isn't?) because we didn't get to go last year when we normally would because of hurricane damage and repairs that lasted into this year....and most importantly...this will be my youngest DD's WDW debut! :jumping1: Anywho....I think anything I do would like like you-know-what after seeing some of this stuff...so can I make a request, too?
I wanted to make T-shirts for my two daughters to wear on our first day, arriving to our resort on a thurs. evening and then we have Chef Mickey's ressies for breakfast and then we're going to hit MK. So I was thinking the castle with Mickey and gang pictures somehow? And for Rachel's wording...something about it being her first of many days in WDW (I was thinking of putting on the back "And I think I'm going to like it here" or something similar and for Megan's shirt something about how she's a WDW expert and showing her little sister around? Any ideas? LOL
Thank you so much in advance if anyone actually attempts this!! :flower:

This is my first time i will make a PS, that's why i need some info about it.

In order to make the PS do I need a a confirmation # of the vacation Package? This is because my Vacation Invesment due on Sept 15. so I only did a down payment in order to secure the vacation. That date will be around 45 days to Our WDW tour and i dont want to loose the oportunity of Chef Mickey's on my DS birthday.

Hi all, I've been enjoying this thread for DAYS! I LOVE all the ideas, had never thought about personalized tshirts for our trip.
I do have a request, we are going in October for my daughter's Wish trip, given to us from an organization called Dreams Come True (like Make-a-Wish). As I was looking at all the great pics, I thought how great it would be for DD to be wearing a tshirt with the words DREAMS COME TRUE and some disney theme (she loves Belle, we call her princess all the time!). I'm not all that creative, anyone want to help me out? Her name is Corinne.

BTW, I've fiddled with some ideas and cannot figure out how to mirror image so I could do an iron on with the ideas I've played with....I only have Arcsoft photo and Roxio easy media creator.
THANK YOU for any help out there!

Rissa's Mom -- I love the one you have with the castle and the princesses. Would you mind if we used that one. It's just me and dd on our trip and I think that is too cute. I'm wanting to do us shirts for everyday and we have a lot of designs but still need more. We're actually going to be there when you are 9/30-10/8.

Thanks, it turned out big enough when I pulled it up to print it. I think it's too cute. We are planning to do MK the day you all are going to be there as we have ADR for CM that morning. Maybe we'll wear them that day if it's oka with you and then you'll be able to recognize us. It's going to be fun to see the people that are there when we are that are wearing the shirts we see here.

I wouldn't worry about being alone on this thread I've gotten hooked. I now have to check this thread everyday to see what's new.
Midnite, I love the stitch or treat design We're using that for matching shirts for the boys this October when we go to the Halloween lights trail.(annual family tradition) :)
Does anyone have an idea for a shirt for our family trip to the pumpkin patch.
Maybe some clipart of Mickey and gang or 100 acre woods gang with pumpkins or carving jack-o-lanterns?
J and N's mom I love the design you made for our trip to DL. And I love your ideas for pillowcases. Could you please design another? :teeth: I would love for each of my 3 older boys to have their own design. That way no fighting over he has my pillow. We'd be able to tell them apart. Ahh the joy of siblings. :goodvibes

Hey - I had that exact same problem! I've taken to copying my posts when I post a new thread in case it disaapears - then I have to wait five minutes paste it in another new thread box and try again... what's going on??

Kate have you found any Kim Possible clip art? I keep looking ( I may not be creative enough to make them but I figured I could help look for the art) and everything I find is tiny like my avatar. Not even big enough to have placed around something like MGM or the castle or whatever creative thing you may find. I will keep looking.

Oh and does anyone have any figment ideas? We are taking someone who has never been to WDW (at 23 can you believe it??) and she is actually very overwhelmed bythe whole thing. Anyways turns out that even though she has never been she loves Figment. ( she is almost a goth girl too - all black etc) Gonna love to introduce her to pixie dust and a 6ft Figment.

We are wanting to make our own shirts like y'all. But I need some help with this project. Okay, so far, I have found really good quality cheap t-shirts. Here are my problems:

1. What is the best transfer paper to get?

2. What is the best computer program to get for your computer?

*will this program make the pictures bigger to fit the shirts?

3. Is there a special ink to use?

4. Someone want to make them for me? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (just kidding ;) )

Thank you for your answers. I know that if I sat here and read this thread I would get the answer, but, ummm...don't know if I can read over 2,000 posts!

My family ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo is going to WDW for the first time in November. Could someone come up with a Thanksgiving design? We will be 6 of the 11 in a Grand Gathering with my parents, an aunt, a cousing and her son. I would love for us all to wear the same shirt for Thanksgiving dinner in the parks.

I am hoping everyone agrees to group shirts and if so, I would like a design w/ names and Grand Gathering 2005 or Magical Thanksgiving 2005 or something like that.

If the person who made the GA football Mickey for lmartin2711 sees this, I would love to have him alone to put on the front pocket! :earsboy: Go Dawgs!!

When/ if I can remember who did which design, I would like to have some personalized for my family at least. I can control what they wear every day! :cool1: My DH already thinks I am going overboard planning for Disney! I talk about it all the time. I just can't seem to get him as interested as the rest of us are!! I was thinking of the MNF design and the Happy/ Bill Grumpy for him.

I know I will want "girlie" designs for me!! I am surrounded by testosterone 24/7- even my dog is male!! I have saved a lot of Tink, Minnie & other girlie ones. I can't wait to try them all!!

Thanks for such a wonderfull board and wonderful people! I am so totally addicted and I haven't even made my first shirt!!!

I have a thanksgiving shirt on my website - the link is in my signature - if that is not what you have in mind - send me a PM

Yes I have they call it a reverse tye dye.
DO THIS OUTSIDE & WEAR GLOVES, OLD CLOTHES.

1. Ready your shirt (tie it up with bands or what ever).
2. Use a 5 gallon bucket 4 parts Cold water 1 part bleach.
3. Use a 5 gallon bucket cold water.
4. Use a 5 gallon bucket cold water.
5. Dip shirt in bucket with bleach about 30 seconds.
6. Squeeze damp dip in 1st cold water.
7. Squeeze damp dip in 2nd cold water.
8. DON"T UNTIE.
9. Wash in cold water with laundry soap.
10. Untie & dry.

Squeezing the bleach from bottle takes to long.
Sometimes burning holes in fabric.
Dipping is much better on fabric.

Good Luck

I am just so overwhelmed by the talent and generosity of all the shirt designers. :cloud9: :cloud9:

So tinker1bell and I sat for hours, with our tshirts and the designs printed on paper, holding them up to the different colored thsirts, ohing and ahhing, getting tinker1bell's sister on the speaker phone, ohhing and ahhing and I think we have it. :goodvibes

This will be my 12th visit to DisneyWorld and I just don't remember having this much pure fun planning our trip. Not my usual stress! but just pure fun.

Some of you (lovesdumbo ;) )might remember how I obsessed about my Christmas trip with my family..... I had a counter for my counter!!! :earseek:

Well, I planned for over 300 days for that vacation, trying to make sure everyone had a great time.

This trip is oh so for me. :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc This is fun.

We did it. We have planned our park days. Planned all of our ts meals. We have our ADR's. Have our tickets for the MNSSHP. Have our plane tickets. Trip is paid in full. :cloud9:

And now, and now, thanks to all of you wonderful selfless talented people, who are doing this for people you have never even met!!! we have our tshirts for everyday at Disney World. :cheer2: Some days 2 shirts. Some days with a design front and back.

And me, the one who never lets my emotions show, had tears in my eyes as we designed our shirt for the last day. Here I was geting all choked up about leaving, and we haven't even arrived!!! :rolleyes1

I just can't thank you all enough for bringing this much fun to our trip. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

And Hanes, Avery, and HP thank you too. :goodvibes :goodvibes

how awesome is this design for a pillowcase? Julia is getting one for this trip - I guess Nick needs one too!! Okay don't worry a boys design is on the way

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b148/DisneyTShirts/princesspillow.jpg

Finally checking back on this thread (whew, what a week!), and just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Kate for the beautiful design for my nieces' pillowcases (she did one for my youngest niece, Abbey, too)!!! I'm going to try the whole iron transfer process over the weekend, and I will let you guys know how it comes out!

I'm doing this as a Xmas present for them (going to get the princess signatures on the cases when I'm at lunch at CRT next week), and I'm also going to see if my mom or their grandma would help me sew a little bit of eyelet lace and ribbbon on the end as a nice accent.

I think they will enjoy these a LOT more than my original idea of just getting the pillowcases monogrammed - as long as I don't screw it up!!!

BTW - congrats and kudos :worship: :worship: to all the designers on this thread. Thanks for sharing your talents and great ideas. I'm hoping to do a shirt or two for myself as well! You guys are awesome - looking forward to seeing more!!

I posted this this morning: "I have a request for all you talented designers. He has loved Pooh since birth and as he grew older we redid his room in Spiderman, but he hated it so we redid it in pooh again/ My 2 yr old Colby has a little tykes race car bed with the toddler comforter that has little race cars and motorcycles on it. Thank you all for your time and talent."

Kevin has done an awesome western Mickey design for Nicholas. Any takers on the other two?

Thanks again

Haven't checked out the thread for the last couple of hours as I've been working on another creation. Looks like we've added a couple new excellent graphic artists! And of course, more great designs from J&Ns Mom.

Alright, my last four park design was not DW's favorite. So, this is probably going to be our second shirt for our October trip. Although I'll probably have three for myself cause I liked the orange background on my last one.

Minniemousemom,
I love the Texans.

Can someone do a JOJO and Goliath shirt. It does not have to say anything about WDW. My 2 year old DD loves JOJO.

This would be a good one for a swimsuit cover up for a cruise!
That French site has wonderful colorful, vivid pics on it! Thanks for the link!

OMG, what a great magnetic door sign that would make for Castawy Cay day! Guess I'd better run over there and post a link to the French site. ::yes::

Midnite gave a tip before if you go to google and select image search search for disney clipart and then select large images, you should finda few donalds. this is one example: http://www.magicalears.com/clipart/Classic%20Characters/Donald%20Duck/02.gif

thanks Lisa, I missed that one (in the 266 pages). I've been looking and skimming the older pages that I started out on and just couldn't find one. Duh, do a search (i actually use to be pretty smart with the internet), that was before I became obsessed with this disney trip, lol.

Once again thanks to all the great disney designers here... you all have so much talent and are so kind to share. if you see any of my family in the park next week with any of your designs, please stops us and say 'hey i did that'... it would be great to see another dis-er.

I don't know if anyone has already posted this (haven't made it to the end of the thread today.), but our A C Moore had thier t-shirts 5 for $10. I always buy from there and they really last. Their sizes are kind of big, too, and it makes me feel so good to be able to buy a medium. (just keep on deluding yourself, Lynn!) Hope this helps another DDA.
