Julia loves hers too. She finally broke down and got a pair when we returned from WDW this summer. It's funny, about three years ago we saw them at an outlet store in N. Conway, NH dirt cheap and Julia & I both said, "Those are so ugly, who would wear those". Now we both do, and yes, we get made fun of :confused3 by some of our friends telling us how ugly they are.
I love the little inserts they have for Crocs. It's one of those simple ideas someone is making a fortune off of!
Yeah, Sam got light blue ones and they have gotten so dirty. I have washed them a few times but she wears them everywhere and I expect she will have outgrown them soon. I promised her new ones before the cruise so we are waiting for the Disney ones. I like the looks of the sandals but have not seen them around here. I doubt they are doing those in the Disney colors anyway, are they?
Have you gotten any of the inserts? Our Hallmark store is where I have seen them. I bought the skull and crossbones one because it goes with the pirate theme I currently have going in my office pirate:

Julia & I have the light blue ones too. I heard you can wash them in the dishwasher, just turn off the "dry" cycle.
Julia has smilie face inserts. They have tons of them at our Hallmark store also, but I've never seen the pirate ones.
I have never seen the sandals either. I heard they are really comfy too, though.

Hmm, not sure I want to put shoes in my dishwasher!@ Ewwwwww :p
Sam was looking at the charms and things last night and thinks they are pretty cool. We may get her some too. Looks like crocs have different styles now, including Mary Janes (more my style than the clogs) and one that is almost like a ballet shoe. I wonder if they are as comfortable as the originals are supposed to be? The local Journeys store is where Sam got her crocs so I will have to check them out and see if they have the other styles, including the sandals. Their online store has the other styles but I would definitely want to try something like that on first. wish I could see what the themed Disney ones are going to look like too as that would help me decide if I want to wait to buy them or not. Oh well.

Something about washing shoes where I wash the dishes I eat off of maybe :confused3
I like the look of the crocs Primas. I may go look for some of those today if Mom is up for going out to the mall. SIL is working so I have DM. I think DH and DD are going to help some friends move. I get out of that one since their house is not wheelchair accessible.
Looks like the sun finally came out this morning :sunny: . It was kind of gray for a while so I was afraid it would be a yucky, rainy day. Glad it isn't.

Well, broke down and got myself a pair of silver crocs today. They are the same size as Sam's!!! I still want to see what the Disney ones look like and I would love to have a pair of the primas but the only place around here that had them didn't have them in my size, oh well.

Yep, did the same today too, Kat. I'd like to say it feels great to have it paid off, but actually, just put it on the CC and still won't be paid off for a few months
As far as the shirts, I'll go with what ever everyone decides. I'm in for an adult large. Just post the cost and I'll mail payment right away.
Sandra, congrats on your new job and on your 25th. What a great way to celebrate.
The Santa Scoop; Yes, Santa does hand out gifts to the children on Christmas Morn. Last year it was from 9:30AM - 11AM. I have to warn you, the last two times I cruised for Christmas, the line was very long. Goes past the end of Lumieres, down to the Gingerbread House, sometimes into the lounge area. For those that want to get off the ship early for CC, I would suggest to get in line at least 1/2 before the posted start time. Once it is your turn, you visit with Santa, get an age appropriate gift, photo op and that's it. Pretty quick once your turn has arrived.
I got my picture with Santa on Christmas Eve and there wasn't really a line at all. They tried to give me a CD case as my gift but I wanted the visor, they just insisted that I would get one in "the Stack". So I took the CD case and then I decided I really didn't want the stupid thing cause I wouldn't use it. I took it back and said I wanted the visor and they asked me if I was sure...so I told them I didn't hang out in the stack. I think the one crew member was going to have a heart attack she was so shocked. :rotfl:

Hi All - I have been looking at the excursions and am feeling alittle overwhelmed. Any recommendations for first timers? Also, I thought they had horseback riding at St. Lucia but I cannot find it now. HELP!! We can't book until the 75 day mark but I am trying to figure out what is fun and what we shouldn't miss.
One other question DS is 7 and will be 7 1/2 at cruise time. He can swim. Do you think we will be able to do the banana boat ride at CC?
I saw horseback riding on St. Lucia earlier in the year. Don't tell me they took it away! I was so looking forward to it cause I couldn't do it last time!
oh whoops just read Kat's post. :p I think your son should be fine for the banana boat ride. None of us fell off when we did it this past week, but the whole other side of our banana did except for the one little boy in the back. Just tell him to hold on tight and he should be fine. :thumbsup2 If he falls off not to worry, you wear life vests and if he can swim he'll be alright.

that and even though it is fun to look back at the cruise i just got back from, it's more exciting to look ahead to the next one! especially since it's more than twice as long :rotfl2:
right now i'm trying to convince my parents to take me with them next week on the 11night cruise. my mom said sure, just quit your job and then you can come. man too bad i don't already have a new job and i can't give my 2 weeks until then *sigh* rats!

our other sister swims in college. and she had told her coaches several times last year that she was going on this trip. i guess when she got back to school and went to practice on friday she told him again just to remind him. and i guess he yelled at her. and i understand where he's coming from, cause if 10 people tried to ask him, he can't say yes to 1 and not everyone else. but everyone that goes home over christmas never trains. she has never trained while she's home for christmas. it's her last year. it's not like she's one of the best swimmers on the team either. and she's trying not to care too much about it this year because it upsets her (she used to be fast and can't get anywhere near to what her times used to be). she's going to talk to one of the other coaches on monday. the thing that sucks is that he's not just ruining it for her, he's ruining something for the whole family.
college coaches are weird. i swam in college too. my junior year my grandmother died and the funeral was on a weekend where we had a swim meet. i went straight from the funeral from the swim meet...

Well our "senior" retired show horse (24 yrs) decided he did not like the neighbors horses sticking their heads over the fence to eat his apples so he must have tried to strike at them because my mom found him with his leg stuck in the neighbors 4X4 square wire fence struggling to get out. He did get out before I got their which may have taken 10 minutes tops. He didn't need stitches but oh boy. He skinned it and a couple of gashes. Luckily most above or below the knee and nothing in the ankle area. It has been 4 days of soaking and dressing it 3 times a day. It looks like it is on the right track so we shall see. And we were just thinking about breaking him out of retirement to finish up the 6 points he needs for his supreme championship. Oh well.
There is never a dull moment around here. Thank goodness!!! I might drive myself crazy daydreaming about the cruise. :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I am dressing up if I find a really great deal on something after Halloween. Otherwise I will just wear the pirate T-shirt from the last cruise (the one that has sat in my closest untouched since the 2004 cruise  ). My priority for our clothing budget for this cruise really needs to go to formal & semi-formal night for Jimmy & me.
KSDTink
09-13-2006, 07:07 PM
DH refuses to wear a tux. The best I can get him to do for formal night is wear his dark suit with a shirt with french cuffs and cufflinks and a tie. He will wear dress pants, shirt and tie on the semi-formal nights. He just isn't a dress-up person. For that matter, I guess I'm really not either. I have never owned a formal gown in my life (except my wedding dress(es)). Nope, never went to prom, sorry. I have some really flashy pants outfits that I wear for formal nights (velvet pants, sparkly shirts, fancy jackets). I don't have a pirate costume either but will be watching the after-Halloween sales too. MaryAnn, let me know if you find anything!

My DH actually does like to dress up. We never have the opportunity (other than the occasional local charity function) to do so, so I guess we do enjoy doing it when we get the chance.
In 2004 I got Jimmy to rent a tux from the DCL recommendened site. I will try to get him to get one this year. We don't do formal family portraits, so this is the next best thing. I found a really cheap formal gown for last cruise on the clearance rack at Lord & Taylor that needed minor alterations. I am hoping to find a similar deal this time around. If not, that's ok too. But, I will definately try pick up something special to wear. I already found a great silk gold-beaded top (on clearance) from Ann Taylor a couple of weeks ago for semi-formal.
My feeling is; if I can't find something great at a good price, I will make do with what's in my closet :thumbsup2

haha yeah the dutchman is really cool. and pirate night is my favorite.
i believe we were a cat 4... we usually stay in one of the higher cat so we can fit all 5 of us in the room. but this was a cruise i actually won from a radion station. so we were supposed to have an inside stateroom. but we got upgraded. and the room wasn't bad at all. we were on the second deck. the only thing we didn't like was the morning we got back to fl was hearing them unloading the ship. but other than that it wasn't bad! and that's coming from someone who has stayed in a room that fits 5 people that has a verandah.

OK Denise - so sorry you won't be able to make the cruise :(
Not sure about dressing up on Pirate night - not really my DH's thing but I may find some sort of Pirate/New Romance shirt and where that with some black linen pants to try and blend in LOL
Paul takes two tuxes on the cruise - his cream and his black - we also dress up for Palo's too. I love formal nights!!
KSDTink - I think that the dark suit is fine enough for formal night, not everyone has a tux or wants to go to the trouble of renting one. After all I know that some don't even make any effort, which of course is there want, whatever people feel comfortable in.
KSDTink

Sam, yeah, we saw guys in casual clothes on formal night so the black suit was pretty fancy in comparison. We don't have much occasion to dress up either, but we really aren't fancy dress people. I like to dress nicely for special occasions, but I am one to go for comfort over style any day!
I did try to talk DH into renting a tux for this cruise but he wasn't having any of it and it isn't worth pushing. As it is, he thinks I am nuts for wanting to get up at 3am to do the ressies this weekend!

Hey, speaking of booking excursions, DH is going to be scuba diving and I don't think DD is going to want to go on some of these so I was wondering if any of the adults were looking at either of these tours:
St Maarten: See and Sea Island Tour - Travel both surf and turf in spectacular St. Maarten on this excusion for the entire family! Get a glimpse of life under the sea in Grand Case as you enjoy an underwater view of the Caribbean aboard the Seaworld Explorer semi-submarine. Then head back to land for a 45-minute stop in the charming French town of Marigot for an afternoon of shopping, sightseeing and fun in the sun.
I think it looks like fun and DD might like the first part but I know the second part would bore her to death!!!!! I don't want to go alone, though!
St. Thomas: Coral World & Island Drive - Discover new worlds on this scenic island tour. Take in the scenic splendor of St. Thomas during an unforgettable drive of the island as you make your way to Coral World Ocean Park. Once there, revel in a glimpse of life below the surface of the sea — without getting wet — at the underwater observatory. Then, head for higher ground and surrender to the island views that only Mountain Top could offer.
Again, not sure that DD will really be into this one, but don't want to go alone. What is anyone else doing on St. Maarten or St. Thomas? Looks like I'll pretty much be on my own both days with DH under water and I definitely want to get out and see the islands and do some shopping but I'd rather go with other DISers than by myself and with our ressie booking date coming up I am getting a bit anxious....
St Lucia I know I am going for the Brig Unicorn and Key West I am going to go do the pirate museum and stuff with DD and then the Flying Monkeys so those two are taken care of. I have no clue about Antigua. Anybody know anything good to do there? I am just not a beach person so if anyone is doing any sightseeing and doesn't mind another person tagging along please let me know!!!!!!!

what boat rentals are you talking about? the jetski thing you get to go right by it. we went right by it on the banana boat too. but if you rent say a kayak (like hayley and i did) or one of the paddle boats you're in a different little roped off section of water that's not the same as the jetskis and banana boats go through

ooo fun excursions. i wrote down a list of all the ones i'm deciding between. granted i haven't looked at it since before the last cruise. and i don't want to pick any out just in case we end up not being able to go. i'm probably going to dive in st maarten (i've toured the island enough i don't think i need to do another one there haha) and st thomas. i haven't yet decided on the other islands. st lucia is going to be the hardest, so many things i want to do!

Don't know if it will be a favorite (we never done that), but Julia and I are going to do the Butterfly Farm at Key West on our own and then over to Flying Monkeys after I drop Julia back off at Magic.
In Antigua, I may book a day pass at the Allegro Pineapple Beach Resort, also on our own. Last time it was a great day and a beautiful resort. All drinks and food were included. I am going to do a bit more research. I have read on the Cruise Critic boards that the cabs are gouging the tourists for cab fare to/from the port/resort which is about 1/2 hour ride. Something that wasn't an issue last time we went.

So who is planning on dressing up for pirate night???
DS10 is dressing up for pirate: night since he'd already decided to be a pirate: for Halloween. DD4 is going to re-wear her Tinkerbell costume. We keep trying to get DS13 to dress as Capt. Hook to go along with her, but he is too cool for that.
SWMBO wants to dress up if she can find something or get around to making something by then.
As for me, as a native Pittsburgher, I have a different idea of how to dress on Pirate Night.

I plan on trying to snag the AM Brig Unicorn. I'd like to do Atlantis and Paradise Point in St. Thomas. I'm thinking of trying Eli's Eco-Tour in Antigua. Of course, I went to the Pineapple resort's web site and now I'm VERY tempted. Magiroux, can you post more info when you have it??? Maybe we can share a cab -- power in #s and all :rotfl:

Angela, on Key West I think I am going to do a couple of things on my own (probably with DD) rather than trough DCL. I want to go to the Pirate Soul Museum, I'd like to see the Light House, the Maritime Treasure Museum, and of course some shopping. There is a store that sells hot pepper stuff and a wonderful winery, both of which we went to last time we were on Key West.

Urghh Kat, Angela and others you are all so much more organised than me :goodvibes
My dilemma is that my DH (Paul) is not good with water, he doesn't swim and won't even go in for a paddle LOL hi swear he has a phobia which makes it even more laughable to me that he loves to cruise and has done for years. Anyway the other side of the coin and I know this is a ::shock:: but I really dislike beaches. I force myself to get off the ship at CC, I know it's lovely but I just have a huge aversion to sand. So this means that I am finding it hard to decide what to do for excursions.
Key West - hmmm we have done the tours before so we'll prolly just walk around, maybe visit Hemmingway's house this time
St Maarten - I just don't really like it all that much, so we'll prolly stay on ship that day and make use of the quiet time and have the adult pool all to myself ;)
St Thomas - SHOPPING and maybe a little tour of the island, is there one of those, any suggestions?
Antigua - No Clue
St Lucia - some of the excursions seem so long because you're travelling for nearly an hour and a half just to get somewhere, any suggestions?
BTW what's the Flying Monkeys?
Also Dee we shall be in WDW before our cruise - actually I get in before Paul to have some time with my friends, so I arrive the 5th December :teeth: Paul doesn't arrive until the 13th :( We are doing MVMCP on the 14th also :Pinkbounc Paul has never done MVMCP so I'm excited to be going with him :cloud9:
I shall also be in WDW for 10 days towards the end of October and am doing MNSSHP twice!

Hey, Married A D_N welcome!
We'll be at SSR for 2 days after the cruise before flying home! Maybe we can meet again. I have a DS 10.
If you're paid off and you've cruised DCL before you can start booking shore excursions / Palo / Spa at midnight PST / 3AM EST 9/17. Yes, some of us will actually be up and booking at the stroke of 12 / 3 this Sunday. If this is your 1st DCL cruise, you have to wait till you're 75 days out. Unless you're in Cat 1-3, in which case you're already in the booking window. Also, if you're in Cat 1-3, the DIS boarding party is in your suite :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

OK, let's try this again.........
Dee - I'll look into transportation options at Pineapple Beach and let you know. We had a very nice, relaxing day last time we went. They have a nice, uncrowded beach front and a pretty cool pool. The food's OK, nothing spectacular. We got the 10:30am day pass and stayed till about 3pm. I am also going for the AM Brig Unicorn.
We are doing WDW until 12/31. We are staying off-site (Orange Lake CC) and plan on doing the parks :crowded: .
Yes John, what exactly is SWMBO and what exactly do Pitsburghers do for pirate dress up :scratchin :scratchin ??
Sam - That IS a dilemma. Too funny he can do cruises but won't dangle his toes in the water at the beach. You would think the middle of the ocean would be a bit more intimidatng for a non-swimmer.
Flying Monkeys is a pub in Key West with an extensive mixed drink menu (they are on the web). Some of us are meeting up for a drink (or two :drinking1 :drinking1 ) at about 3pm (I think). Come on along and join us :thumbsup2 .
On St Marteen we are going to go to a place called Sunset Beach Bar to watch the jumbo jets land/take off. I guess they start about 1PM. Sounds silly, but I read it is very cool to watch. If anyone is interested, I'll post more details.
:welcome: Welcome to the thread Married A Disney Nut :welcome: Jump on in and join the fun.
Kara, nice to see you back. I am assuming that they are going to follow the same schedule. I looked up my old navigators amd the first formal night was the first Sea Day which was Monday, so I'm making mine for 12/18.
If anyone wants bracelets, please PM me with how many adults or children's you would like. I would like to gift these to my DIS friends, but please PM me with what you need...thanks

PALO BRUNCH ROOM.....
This is the scoop -
edited to add: we are trying to reserve it for Dec 24th - 10:30am
There is room for 14 people.
We need at least 12 to reserve the room.
DCL will not guarantee us the room until 30 days before the cruise.
Any Wedding or Vow Renawal Party has priority to the room.
Since we can not get a guarantee until after on-line ressies open up, we are doing a back up plan of making an on-line ressie for Dec 24th at 10:30am and asking to be seated together (hoping we will at least get the same section) so that even if the room falls through we can still do the bruch together (kinda).
We did have a full room, but many of the people that originally signed up have cancelled the cruise. I would still be more than happy to coordinate this with DCL if we have the 12 people minimum needed.
Right now we have:
DEE47 (1)
KSDTink (2)
Magiroux (2)
Allison & Rich (2)
DCL Goddess (1)
That leaves openings for 6 more. If you are interested in this please PM me. It will be first come, first serve.
Again, they will not guarantee confirmation untill 30 days out, and even if that date is not available, perhaps another date would be, if we all were willing to be more flexible.
Good luck to everyone that is making ressie on-line tonite :thumbsup2

Yes, please let me know what the deal is for the Antigua resort. I think I'll put my deposit for Eli, and decide later...I hope his boat doesn't break down this year!! (It did in 2004 and he had to cancel our tour).

DEE47 (2)
KSDTink (2)
Magiroux (2)
Allison & Rich (2)
DCL Goddess (1)
That leaves openings for 5 more.
SWMBO and I (Janie and J. R.) would be interested. We're going to book brunch for earlier in the week but we'd join in if we can get the room.

Hi all-
Yep, we're here too, just waiting for the ressies to open up, though we're having such a hard time figuring out when to book Palo for dinner! We're trying to link 8 for dinner, and we all want to do Palo the same night (together if possible), but not everyone has paid off yet!! Urgh!
Anywho, I guess us west-coasters have an advantage of sorts...but way to go Dee!!
We are flying into MCO Saturday, 12/9. We don't hit WDW until Tues, but we too are going to MVMCP on 12/12!! Yay! Sounds like there will be lots of us there!
Cheers, Kara

Hi there,
just reading all the posts - we have tickets to MVMCP the same day as you!! :) and are at WDW from Dec. 7 - 16, then the cruise and again from Dec 26- January 2.
Take care
Denise
I think we should try to meet at least at MVMCP -- last 10-day there was a whole group of us that met for the party, in the little garden area down by Tomorrowland. Sounds like a bunch of us will be there on the 14th.
Also, if anyone wants to meet at any park before or after the cruise, we're game!

Okay, so I must be losing it. I just pulled my navigators (missing the one from 12.26.04), but I only found two formal nights, 12/18 (first day at sea), and 12/24 (Captain's Gala).
When was the semi-formal night? Sorry, obsessing here... :rotfl2:
And of course we can burn you a copy Dee. Our Tivo is networked to our computer. We'll just copy it to the computer and burn the DVD. PM me your address. No worries about the shipping, we have a ton of stuff to mail out anyway.

Thanks Dee. Figures!
Okay, new panic attack. DH briefly logged into DCL's site and although it's too early, he clicked on Palo to see what would come up. We got a message that we couldn't book until 75 days out unless you are a Castaway Club member. We are, of course, but now I'm panicking that our number somehow isn't in there!
I guess we'll see what happens in a couple of hours... :hourglass

Hey Kat! Glad you joined us, though it's a bummer you couldn't sleep. I think we are going to do brunch on our own this time around.
In Antigua, we're going to do the Rainforest Canopy Adventure. We love the adventure stuff. Plus, I think we're diving in St. Maarten and possibly in St. Lucia, since there isn't anything we want to do in St. Lucia. On St. Thomas, the St. John Eco Hike, and Key West, the Thrill Boat Ride. Yahoo!

So I'm working on making the world a more readable place...here's what I'm dealing with tonight:
"Several small controlled trials in adults with severe refractory ulcerative colitis have demonstrated that intravenous cyclosporine with or without concomitant steroid treatment may provide a short-term beneficial response decreasing the need for emergency surgical removal of the colon (colectomy). "
Mind you, this is supposed to be written for the lay public...This makes my job so much fun sometimes...NOT!

Kara, is the Rainforest Canopy Adventure something you are doing on your own? I don't see it on the list of excursions on DCL's site for Antigua. What, not doing the Brig Unicorn Pirate Excursion on St, Lucia with the rest of us crazies????
I imagine this is easier for you west coasters as midnite isn't that much of a stretch to stay up for. Of course I didn't get up until late this morning but that was another issue altogether. Poor DH had to deal with me and a massive low blood sugar attack. It's been several years since I have had one that bad. It really messed up my day too. Ugh.

No problem, Eric.
Kara, check with Jen. I think Antigua may be one where her family is booking a scuba excursion. I know they are doing that on Key West, I just don't remember about Antigua. I didn't really see anything on Antigua excursion-wise that interested me so I may just wander a bit then be a bum on the ship. If there isn't any diving DD will love it because that means DH will take a book and his mp3 player and sit by the pool all day so she can swim. :sunny: She is 10 and would live in the water if we'd let her. This will be our 4th Disney cruise and she is very excited.

Cats here are 18 and 12 or 13. They are pretty much outdoor animals during the summer though somehow the older one is inside tonight. She is sleeping in the kitchen. The dog is about 7 now I think and she was following me around awhile ago but I think she lay back down. DD was camping with girl scouts last night and got home around 10:30 and immediately crawled into bed with me and was asleep 3 seconds later. her tossing and turning is probably why I had trouble sleeping. DH went to bed shortly after that so those two are in there sleeping like babies while I am up typing away and cruising the internet. I am tired enough that I hope I can get right back to sleep, though. As long as I don't start burning up, that is! I don't care what my doctor says, I swear I am starting to have hot flashes!

That's a serious bummer. DH wanted Scuba excursions on three of the islands and I could pnly get one of them??? and the excursion I wanted on St. Thomas wasn't available. What's with that??????

OH, Jen - I can't imagine anything will be sold out this quickly
You sure you have all the correct info and the excursion is supposed to be there
What are you looking for...I'll help you look

Hi,
Trying to book our Palo reservations and I'm getting a message saying I can't book at this time. I am a Castaway Club member. Any ideas?
Thanks.
Mick.

Jen, same here. That's the only one I could get for DH! He will not be a happy camper. I guess we can book on our own, eh??
Mary Ann, if we can get the room for the 24th we should cancel our Palo ressies, yes? that way someone else can use them I would think.
Mick, welcome to our group. Have you paid in full?

Okay, so we're not crazy. We were also trying for diving on St. Lucia, but couldn't find it. I'm guessing that it's not sold out, they rarely are this early. Maybe they had a problem setting it up? Let's all keep an eye on the diving.
Okay, 'nite all. We're hitting the heay.

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome. Yes this will be our 4th cruise and I paid the balance at the begining of this month. Checked the Castaway Club link and it welcomes me back so I guess somebody at DCL hasn't linked our reservation to our CC membership. DCL just got an "I got out of bed early Sunday morning e-mail" so after they read the contents I could even be banned from the ship..!!

I got the AM Brig Unicorn (YAY).
Don't have any idea what is up with the Scuba excursions. Don't know what is up with your Palo excursions either, Mick. That is a bummer!!!
I am going to give them a call later on today to see if they can tell me what is going on with the dive excursions ' cause I know DH will not be happy about the dive stuff.
Mick, you will have to let us know more about you! Jen has a link on her signature to her email where you can send info to be put on her page with your info for dinner seating time, family info, stateroom number, etc.

Hi all
My dd age 4 decided today would be a good day to try getting up at 5:23 a.m. :confused3 - of course it's a weekend- Can't get them up on school days but the days I want to sleep in - there she is.
So as a result I spent the last hour browsing the net and booking some excursions - a painless process I thought.
Anyone know if they offer the "my first spa" for the girls?? I have heard about it but did not see it in the reservation area for the spa. I think it was for a pedicure and manicure for moms and daughters. My dd 8 would love that.
Well I now have to get up-its the Terry Fox Run here at home and I promised my girls we'd go - raises money for cancer and since they attend at Terry Fox P.S. it seems appropriate to go.
Another question - is the main seating for dinner the early sitting??
Thanks - have a good day - I'll be sure to check in again later.

Maybe you have to book that on board at the salon? I've never heard of it and don't see it on the DCL site at all. I can ask when I call them in a bit.
Main seating is the first (early) dinner seating.
Hope you have a fun day with your girls. I ended up getting a couple of hours sleep but not much. My head is pounding as a result. Gotta go rustle up some breakfast, jump in the shower, call DCL, work on slaying the :laundy: monster and do the grocery shopping! No, I don't have anything to do today....

Thanks for asking about the salon thing for me.
I didn't add that my neighbours behind me were partying loudly until 3:40 a.m. and because I had my bedroom window open had no sleep until I closed the window in frustration, dozed off to sleep only to be awoken by one of my lovelies.
The weather today is going be beauitiful here - summer like- perfect for a Charity Run - I walk - no running for me.
We live just outside of Toronto (20 min) to downtown and perhaps we will have clear sky's at the lake- minus the Toronto Fog.
Have a good day and good luck with phoning Disney.
I and my dh would be interested in joining the DIS group for Palo Brunch so if there is room, please add us to the group.
Thanks again
Denise

Same thing happened to me last night at about 3:20AM. I thought is was just my lovely computer pulling another one of it's temperamental fits again. Sorry guys, I was just too tired to mess around with it and gave up and went to bed.
Got the AM Brig Unicorn :thumbsup2

Yes, do cancel them, BUT not until I have confirmation on the room.
Again, I can not finalize the request until we have at least 12 people. If anyone is interested, we still have 6 open spots. We would need to fill in 4 of them to request the room.
Please send me a PM if you are interested :sunny:

Don't you love when the little buggers pick the worst possible day to go off schedule :teeth: . It's like they KNOW!!!!
I can't help you with the manicure thing. My DD hates manicures. Doesn't care about painting her nails, but as soon as she sees a file, she freaks. It's like fingers down a chalkboard to her to have her nails filed.
Yes, main seating is early seating.
Have a good day at your fundraiser. I do the Relay for Life every year and find the event day so rewarding. My DD gets very involved in it too.
