I wasn't paying too close attention but I remember when we were @ PO Riverside, going to the bar or "lounge" there & paying a lot for a drink. But then when we stayed @ the AS Music, I went to the poolside bar & felt like WOW!! What a deal! I didn't think the liquor prices were that bad!

Does anyone know if they charge more for alcoholic beverages at the moderates than the values?

Prices at the pool bar at WL were kinda steep -- they had a "special" for $7 or $8 each day. My thought was "wow, better not get too thirsty at the pool!"

I paid $6 for a pinacolata last year at ASMu and didn't think it was such a deal.:(

See, We paid about $8.00 at the pool in AS & got a whole yard of beer! And got to keep the glass!! (Actually it was a plastic one!)
So I thought that was a good deal!

The prices seem to be pretty standard thoughout WDW. Of course the drinks are pretty steep, but usually they are quite worth it!

If we are going to drink beer and do not already have some in a cooler in the room, we go inside to the little convience area in the gift shop and buy our beer there. They have plastic bottles that were cheaper than what the bar charges.

I paid $8.00 for a frozen drink at the AKL pool...it was worth it though! ;)

While eveything at WDW can be expensive I think the alcholoic drinks are even more so, so there aren't a bunch of "drunks" roaming around. :D

You can refill that yard at the All Stars for five bucks...makes it all the better of a deal...hubby loves it. Just wish they would get some better beers there!

You kinda have to prepare yourself for the cost of everything at WDW. Once you recover from the "sticker shock" it's still a lot of fun and usually worth the price. Besides, everything tastes beter at WDW. It's probably all in my mind, but that part of me gets to go on vacation, too! :D

I'm with you George!! Disneyworld is fun and great relaxation. (After you've been a couple of times). Worrying about saving fifty cents on a drink, or lugging a mug around to save twenty bucks on soda for your length of stay are distractions that are not on my agenda. Can't wait to go back!!

I live at the shore so we have tourist prices in our restaurants and bars once the season starts and I do not find WDW prices any higher than at home and you do at least get a decent drink for your money at WDW.
