I saw it earlier and cried too. It kind of puts life into perspective.

omg, that's very sad but at the same time it is great that she was able to "see" it :(

This is such a sad story, but this says SO MUCH about the quality of Pixar!!! How many other companies would have done something like that??? It is such a touching story that has wound all over the world. I understand that someone wrote a song about this event and put it on youtube. I have not found it yet, but I thought that some of you might want to see it.

DBF and I were talking about this over the weekend (because we liked UP! sooooo much) and how sad it was, even sadder because she couldn't actually see it but had to have it described to her. I would be sooooooo upset at the wheelchair rental company that didn't deliver the chair when they were supposed to. I wish I could work at Pixar.....their studios are very close to my DBF's place of employment. :)

When I first posted to this thread, I hadn't seen the movie yet but still found this story very touching. Now, after seeing the movie and knowing how much of it deals with loss and love, I can only imagine that dear mother sitting by her daughter, watching and describing it to her.....oh, it is almost devastating to imagine! I just want to give that mother a hug! :sad1:
