DVC Members get free valet parking at the DVC resorts where it is offered, but do you have to be staying at a DVC resort at the time?

I would like to park at BCV next week, but won't be staying onsite. Can I show my DVC Membership Card, or will I have to have a room key?

Thanks,
grim

As long as you show your DVC card, you get the free valet. I stayed off-site in April and went to WL and BW and received the
free valet. I stilled tipped the same as if I had paid for it.

The free valet parking at the BCV for DVC members MAY NOT be available next week. It's possible that it begins when the BCV officially open on July1. Might want to call MS to verify.

We have never had a problem valet parking at the Beach Club on our visits. I don't understand why next week should be any different.

Also, if one has a handicapped tag/license plate, then valet parking is complimentary. However, one should still tip :).

I think the concern is whether it would be "free". I'm assuming that BCV will be added to the resorts where DVC members get this perk. However, I haven't seen anything posted on the member site or elsewhere. I would expect members staying at BCV would get the free parking.
