Anyone have an opinion on these schools? We are looking (especially at the Portland one) as a film/video production degree option.

My DH did not go to any of these schools but he did go to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. It was many years ago(16 years) and he went for photography. We are still paying student loans-still have $20,000+ for the 2 years he went. For money, no it wasn't worth it. He also had grants and scholarships and we are still that much in the hole. We did however enjoyed the time there and our experiences there. He is the marcom manager at a international bioprocessing company. He takes photos maybe 1 every quarter. Not the fashion photography he wanted to do. But that has something to do with choices we made for our family. All in all, I wished he would have went to our local university for money, but we did have a good time in Florida. Just wished we would have went to WDW more, but we were poor college students. The only time we went I was 8 weeks pregnant and I didn't enjoy it like I could have. HTH some.

I don't know anything about the places you mentioned but have you looked at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena? I didn't go there but I was a graphic design major in college and we took a "field trip" there to visit and we were all SO impressed with what we saw. It's a great school but it is also very intense.

I know that doesn't answer your question but I thought I would throw that out there in case it was of any use to you. Good luck making a decision!

I don't know anything about the school but Portland is a wonderful place to live. We like going up there just to play.
