Great deal :thumbsup2 I think the issue is these types of discounts for AP holders are sadly becoming available less and less. Often, the package price is much cheaper than RO/AP discount these days! :confused3

It's great to see that someone has got a good deal out of the AP though. I don't own an AP but had seriously thought about buying one on our 2nd trip, I don't feel inclined to get one though esp with some of the things I've read recently....

Really???

All the quotes I was getting for October were the exact other way around for the DCR.

I  my AP...but not becuase it get's me discounted rooms anymore...sadly I think it's one perk that will slowly die out.

I'm very, very glad that you got a great deal on your August holiday at the DCR

It's a great deal accept....our APs run out in July.

Happy to renew, but was hoping to receive the email with the 18mths extension offer which hasn't materialised :confused3

I've just emailed for the 2nd time begging for a reply.

Having read this thread I phoned this afternoon and got a Dream passport room only price for 3 adults & 1 child for 2 nights in the Cheyenne for our visit on 18th July of £208.63
When I called in May was quoted almost £500 for same nights. Package price for these dates with 30% discount is coming up at £480.18. I have now cancelled our booking at the Magic Circus since the Cheyenne price is marginally better and would prefer to stay on site. Appears there are still some AP deals out there.

Our APs run out on the 11th July and we received the 18th month extension offer yesterday. Hopefully you will still get this :)

I got the offer 3 weeks before my APs expired, but had already applied for them to be renewed by post and hadn't mentioned the offer. It was honoured anyway.:goodvibes

That's great :goodvibes

Prices are very random aren't they???

Are there charges for cancelling an earlier booking?

No we booked Magic Circus through Benotel and you can cancel up to just before the stay without charge.

When we renewed our APs in January we were given the 18 months extension offer. We had received no letter or email and didn't ask it was just offered.

Thanks, that's helpful to know....can you renew over the telephone?

I am so glad you started this thread! We were gonna off-site it in august for £400 room only, but have just got 6 nights at DCR for £616.20 with Dream AP discount! For £100 more each, we'll now have brekkie, a pool and the option of cheaper meals with half-board. We are thrilled! Just need to get my ticker amended now! :goodvibes

Sorry I know this info is somewhere but I can't find it! What's the phone no to ring for an AP price please? We're booked offsite for the end of July but I might check out the online prices just in case!

Tel no from UK is 08448 008111

Be careful though....I've just called to book the price quoted above, and it's risen to £826 (without travel) over the last couple of days :scared1:

I'll call again, as it's common for them to make mistakes, but I'm cursing them at the moment

Keep ringing! We were quoted the £616 price the first time with the Dream AP discount, and when we rang back to book it the same day, we were quoted £1200+ for the same dates!!
The second CM that I spoke to was adamant that this was the best price the system was coming up with, so I just hung up and rang again. The next person I spoke to came up with the £616 price straight away again! I am not sure if it is a training issue, or what, but This price does not include travel booking insurance, so if you have your own (as we do) then ask them to deduct this from the quote. :thumbsup2

....and keep ringing we did!

2nd time, the operator couldn't find the AP discounts and put us on hold, forever....

Hung up, and next operator gave us another extortionate price. Queried it, stating the price we were quoted the other day.....put on hold and then informed that they'd found a 'special dream AP rate' ???

Booked 5 nights for £516 while we had the chance!

So a very happy ending, but feeling very concerned about their practice!!!

Great news! I do hope that it's a training issue, rather than something more sinister with them randomly giving a certain percentage of their callers higher rates to boost profits...
