My next door neighbor is leaving tonight for WDW with their little ones. They will leave from Raleigh tonight and hope to spend the night at a good stopping point. We usually camp and stay at FW and drive in one day, so I don't know how to help them when they asked for a recommendation.
Does anyone out there know of a good place for them to spend the night that is not a campground?
Thanks for your help as always.

There's a new Holiday Inn Express right off route 95 in Walterboro, SC.
I think it's exit 53? It's an approximate midpoint of the trip.
The last leg of the trip through Georgia into Florida is pretty rural, so they should take a break around the Chatham exits before continuing on. There is a rest stop a few miles into Florida on 95.

You guys are the best! I think this is a wonderful suggestion. I looked it up on Google maps and it definitely is Exit 53. Thanks so much for the prompt response.
Have a good day :dance3:
