My next door neighbor is leaving tonight for WDW with their little ones. They will leave from Raleigh tonight and hope to spend the night at a good stopping point. They are not campers so I don't know how to help them when they asked for a recommendation.

Does anyone out there know of a good place for them to spend the night that is not a campground?

Thanks for your help as always.:thumbsup2

When we leave from Raleigh mid-day, we always stop at the Marriott Courtyard in Brunswick GA. We even stop here when we are pulling our 5th wheel. We usually get there around 10:00 at night. Its right off I95 and is easy on, easy off. I don't care to try to manuever 60' of truck and trailer into a unfamiliar campground after dark, so the Courtyard works for us.....

Get up the next morning and usually at the Fort around 11 - 12 noon...

KOA at Richmond Hill.

I won't make any comments on the quality of any of these locations...only to check them out.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions. I passed them along and will keep them in mind for future trips for ourselves as well.

Thanks again.

We always stay at a Fairfield Inn which is right off 95S Exit 94. It's a major exit with alot of places to eat and hotels and gas. It's about 5 hours from the Raliegh area, and when we leave there in the morning it's an easy 4-5 hour ride into Disney. Stayed several times and very happy with it. Clean modern room, and nice complimentary breakfast. Really not expensive either, you need a safe clean place especially when traveling with children. Hope this helps. This site won't let me post the link to hotel but if you look up Fairfield Inn, Savannah GA and look for the one on exit 94 your friend should find plenty of info and pics

Oh I just remembered a website that I refer to often that lists all kinds of information that pertains to I-95. Give it a look when you get a chance...
