Hey everyone. I started a PJ for my at home (disney themed) wedding, but had to stop posting in it. I really want to be able to share our wedding and honeymoon with everyone here on the Dis, so I am starting this now (even though the wedding isn't happening for another 8 days). Let's start with who we are:

Me, Gina, 25

DF, Tim, 25

here are a couple pics of us together

getting engaged at POTC (story in another post)
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/dis3.jpg

I will leave with that. (Tim wants to go watch Seinfeld and go to bed... it has become our night time ritual...he is trying to get me Seinfeld smart so I can play the Seinfeld scene it game a little better lol)

Tomorrow (hopefully) I will post the how we met and the engagement story. And some details about our wedding. I am going to try to get as much in as I can before we leave Saturday for Buffalo (where the wedding is, we live in TN now). Once I leave I probably won't be on much, if at all... and it will be July 14 before I can update again.

PS...how do I change the thread title as I update?

Well, while I am waiting for this to be moved to the right area of the boards I will tell the story of how we met..

I had just transferred to a college back home and since I wasn't dorming, wanted to meet new people. I decided to pledge a sorority. The day we got pinned, the guys from the brother frat and their pledges were in the student union with all the girls. We were told who the pledges were and they said "That's Tim, the one who goes home with Kat after the bar." Ok that was the end of getting to know him, since she was one of the sisters.

Skip forward a few days, the frat and sor were having lunch together in the union. Saw Tim, we said hi, that was it.

A few days later we went to a party at one of the brothers' houses. Hoping to see Tim there, but didn't.

I decided shortly after to depledge because I ended up having a lot of personal stuff to deal with and couldn't devote my time to it. Never saw Tim again.

(4 months later) A friend of mine from work made me make a myspace page so I was clicking through people that went to my school and came across Tim's page. I knew he looked familiar but couldn't figure out why. We messaged each other a couple times and he ended up figuring out how we knew each other. (He ended up depledging from the frat a few days before I did) We talked on the phone for hours the next day and decided to meet up at a concert downtown that Thursday. I went with my friend and met up with him and his friends. At the end of the night he invited me to a party his friend was having back home (2 hours from me) that Saturday. I got a friend of mine to go with me and stayed overnight at the cottage with a bunch of people. Tim was leaving the next day to go to Florida for the summer to stay with his brothers. We decided that night to just be together and wait out the summer.

Well he decided to come home a month early and we have been together since. He ended up moving in with my family a year later because his mom moved to Kentucky and he didn't get a dorm room fast enough and was put on a waiting list. He has been living with us ever since. And unfortunately we are going to beliving with my parents a few months (2 hopefully) after the wedding because we are building a house... so those updates will be in here at some point as well.

Here is a pic of us from the day he came home from FL at Niagara Falls.

Joining over from wigd and shocker's report. Where in TN are you? I am originally from Nashville and my mom (MeMom on the Dis) still lives there. Good luck with the wedding and have a ton of fun on your honeymoon. My DH and I went to Disney on our honeymoon as well and had a great time!

Gosh that was so short. I hope I don't seem rude. We are going nuts here. A little insight to what is going on here in Memphis... tried my dress on today and IT DIDN'T FIT. Apparantly the birth control finally caught up to me and I am retaining water RIGHT BEFORE MY WEDDING. So, $100 and 4 hours later, my dress fits. We are trying to pack the truck up with ALL the wedding stuff so we can leave at like 4am.. it's not fitting.

I will try to post our engagement story before I leave.

I really hope this gets moved to the right board so people will read it. :(

Well…I am going to post our engagement story now, since I am leaving bright and early to head to Buffalo. This story has a few extra people involved so let me introduce them (without pics though, sorry). There is Jackie and Mike (two of my friends, though not Jackie anymore, sadly) who came with Tim and I to Disney and then my friend Zack who works at Disney. OK….
We planned a week trip to Disney for my graduation celebration, during the year of a million dreams. My friend Zack told me he entered me into a contest and that I had to be in the MK on June 28. I said ok cool. Never told me what I could win, it was to be a surprise. Awesome… so we are at MK and JUST got our food and FINALLY found a table when Zack called and said hey G, you gotta be behind the castle in like 20 minutes… I freaked out because we hadn’t even sat down yet. So we rushed to eat our food and my friend Mike (both friends knew what was going on), got worried he wasn’t gonna be able to eat fast enough. (I later found out he literally forgot what was going on and Jackie was about to start eating the food off his tray just to get it finished.) We finished and went behind the castle. So here I was looking for some CM in a dream team get up… NO ONE to be found. So Tim convinced me to walk around and look for someone. So we got to the wishing well and found Pixie Dust Express Mail for me
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/pixiemail-1.jpg
Well the note told me to stand on the star behind the castle and spin 3 times with my eyes closed (and maybe make a wish, I don’t remember and the note is packed to go home for the wedding reception). So after much talk about how foolish I was going to feel, I did it.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/dis1.jpg
After that the instructions were to go to the Spanish fountains at POTC without water, but with plants instead. For some reason, everyone thought it was a great idea for me to lead the way (I can’t read a map and get lost going in a circle). Well for a good 20-30 minutes I got us lost trying to find it. Tim was getting phone calls and had to keep being secretive. When we FINALLY got to POTC we couldn’t find the right fountain… there are quite a few of them there. Tim got a phone call and he told me it was Zack and he told him where I needed to go. It ended up being off to the side (I’m sorry I can’t remember details… but it was to the right of the line) and kind of hidden away. I was expecting to see Tim’s family members there because his aunt was trying to find a way to bring her kids down to stay while we were there but told us she couldn’t, so I thought maybe that was my surprise. When we got there, there was a treasure chest and pixie dust on top of it with a note. The note said to have someone sprinkle it in my hair, which Tim did.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/dis2.jpg
Then I could open the treasure chest. Inside there was a note that said “Gina, you are my treasure. Will you marry me? Love, Tim” When I looked up he was on one knee…
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/dis3.jpg
We went on POTC after, but I don’t remember a single thing about it…
Here is the pic of it all when we got back to the room that night…
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/end-1.jpg

And here is a picture of my ring (he changed it after we got engaged so if it looks different in that pic above and this one, that is why)
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/ring-1.jpg

Well…I am heading to bed. We leave bright and early for Buffalo (me and my mom only, Tim and dad are flying in Wed night). Thursday is rehearsal and dinner and Saturday (27th) is the big day. Exactly 2 years from the day this engagement happened (we got engaged on the 28th but there was a leap year so we actually have 2 full years :) ) We leave the 29th for Disney and won’t be back until midnight on the 13th of July. So I will be gone until then.

tinkabella627
07-15-2009, 12:55 AM
ok as you can obviously see- I never got the stress update in... I am going to do that now... hopefully I still have someone reading. :(

Geesh, I don't even know if I remember all the nonsense that felt the need to happen the week of the wedding haha...

I will go with the minor to the major...

the most minor thing that happened was that my eyebrow lady was not working the day before we left TN to head to NY and I couldn't get my eyebrows done. Ok, not a crisis, but this lady has some serious eyebrow skills. I had to wait til I got to Buffalo and went to 3 different places and finally found someone with less than an hour wait!

hmm the next two things I can't decide which was worse so I will do them in order that they happened haha

my uncle decided that he was going to try and tell me where everyone was going to sit at our reception. here is some background... his daughter doesn't speak to him much and he doesn't speak to his father (my grandfather). So to save everyone the awkwardness we kept them all separate (he asked to be separate from my grandfater prior to this). So what we did was make a "kids table"... all the people that used to sit at the kids table that are all adults now. It was a good table. Well my uncle called my grandmother or something I don't even know and basically said if he wasn't sitting with his kids, he wasn't coming. (he is also my godfather...) So.. after all the grief I went through to make table assignments and cute place cards and table names... I finally said, fine sit where you want I don't care anymore. I should have just let it be a free for all for seating.

So then rehearsal rolls around and on the way I was like geez I probably should have called lisa by now. (she was my matron of honor... just had a baby 3 months ago, very absent minded). well I called and here is the conversation..
Me: "Hey Lise what are you doing?"
Lisa: "Nothing, we are at home."
Me: "Um shouldn't you be on your way to the church?"
Lisa: "Church? For what?"
Me: "Lisa... rehearsal is at 5... dinner is at 6:30"
Lisa" OMG we will leave right away I gotta get the baby ready"
Me: "ok"

yep... they made it JUST as we started walking in after the church lady yelled at us about everything she could (that is another story)

So in the midst of all this... the best man texts Tim... he got a flat on his way to Buffalo from his house 2 hours away. He and another GM are going to be late. Awesome timing. (He ended up leaving his car and they took the other guys car...good thing they had to drive in separate... they were only like 10 min away...we had to deal with that the next day... story coming) They made it about 10 minutes after Lisa.

Ok good... on the way to rehearsal dinner... Michael Jackson is dead... this was serious lol Literally my maid of honor rolled her window down to yell out to my BM who was driving next to us that MJ died. I called Lisa to tell her (she loves him) Ok so that is not wedding stress but seriously MJ dead... sad day!

Ok so that night Tim had his bachelor party. I told him I didn't care what they did and I truly didn't. We also decided it was HIS party and at no point were we joining up. Well his brothers wife apparantly didnt get that the hundred times we told her that. So after dinner we told her we would text her to tell her where we were going. Well we decided that we were going to stay at the bar in the hotel... no one had to drive that way. Well we told her, and she never responded. So whatever we had a good time. Well later on that night I find out... SHE WENT OUT WITH THE GUYS. Maybe I am just over reacting but it really got to me. Not only did she go to guys night out, but she couldn't bother to tell me she wasn't coming out with us. She was their "DD" however, my father or brother was willing to get tim and his guys back to our hotel.

Oh and Thursday all the tuxes were supposed to be in BEFORE rehearsal... that didn't happen so people were running around all day trying to get their tuxes and stuff. They ended up getting them in but people went a couple times to pick them up when they werent in. Just a hassle.

Ok so Friday... me, tim, ashley (MOH), and mike (BM) get into ashleys car to get to his car with a flat... we take the tire off the car to try and go get another one. Luckily ashley has some connections and got him a tire for free YAY

And this is the BIGGEST drama of the week... it happened actually before all this other stuff but it is such a doozy I saved it for the end... (Sorry this is so long)

Ok so we get to my aunt's house and she tells me that my flower girl (her grand daughter) had to get a new dress bc she outgrew hers. Well I got a little upset because no one told me until now and I loved the dress I originally picked her. Ok she tells me it's cute and whatever but it is not at the house. Well long story short, my cousin went and got the dress so I could see it and ready.... make sure you are sitting because this is bad....

IT WAS YELLOWED!!! It was not a new dress. It was clearly a first communion dress from the late 80s early 90s! It had discolored and they tried to clean it but clearly it didn't work. And it was just plain awful! Had a collor and a big floofy bow in the back and the big poofy sleeves. OMG I nearly died. So I left to look for a new dress that I was going to have to choke down the payment for. Well not having the flower girl with me, there wasn't much I could do. While I was gone my mom told my aunt I hated it and it was discolored. She said she didn't know that and we promptly went out and got her a new one the next day, that my aunt paid for. Apparently her daughter in law (my flower girls mom) told her that it was a new dress and she thought nothing of it. Anyways... we had to have tons of alterations done on the dress that we ended up getting but what I can say is... my aunt told the lady at the shop how horrible she got treated last time they were in the bc of my FG outgrowing her dress, and the lady more than made up for it for us.

Ok I THINK that ends all the "week before the wedding stress that didn't happen in the entire 2 years we were engaged" saga...

Hopefully I will get some rehearsal pictures up soon.

I'm sorry everyone... I just tried to upload a picture from the wedding as a sneak peak but photobucket is down... so this is one boring post.

The engagement story was VERY cute. Your DH is very creative. And WOW, that's a lot of drama to deal with right before the wedding. Can't wait to read more.

It was a lot of stress but it's ok. I guess 2 years worth of no stress meant I was going to have some. I forgot in the wedding stress post that our favors were cds and chocolate suckers. Well my cousin's friend or someone offered to make the suckers and 2 days before the wedding we found out she ran out of chocolate and instead of going to get more and telling us how much it was, she just stopped making them! So my MOH and I had to go get more and go to her friends house and make them! Craziness haha

Awww, what a great engagement story! Can't wait for the TR!! :bride:

Thanks!! The TR should be something. We had some little issues while we were there. I know everyone be shocked ISSUES IN DISNEY?!?! That is NOT allowed haha

Haha it's ok I forget to subscribe too! Thanks for the compliment on my ring. Tim did pretty good with this one. I guess weddings wouldnt be weddings without drama or stress somewhere during the proposal right? We don't have another trip planned but.... while we were there Tim got pretty interested in DVC!!! We aren't going to get it yet. Maybe at the earliest next year before we take an anniversary trip. The place we were planning on going for our anniversary is one of their locations so I am trying to convince him that we should do it before that trip bc the DVC downpayment will be cheaper than paying for the trip. We agreed that if we got into DVC, disney would be more like an every other year thing for us so we could go other places too. So we will see if we can get some bills paid down and can buy into that!!

thank you!! we are about half way through getting all the pics uploaded. I am doing that in between planning for next school year. Hopefully when Tim gets home he is feeling ambitious and finishes them up for me.

If not I will do what I can to get a post up with what we have.

Hey girl! First let me just say that I just wrote this HUGE post back to you and my computer decided to temporarily hate me and froze! SO I am trying again..

I have my degree in childhood education and my concentration is in math. I am teaching 3rd grade right now. My first year teaching I taught 6-8 then last year I started in 2nd grade and a month in they moved me to 3rd grade. So hopefully I won't get switched this year. I honestly think it is insanely hard to be a teacher. It never ends and they constantly pile work on top of our regular teaching. Teaching isn't just teaching anymore. What did you end up switching to? I am trying to think of a backup plan just incase it doesn't get any easier. Everyone says it does after the first few years. Anything I want to do would require going back to school and since I am paying off one set of student loans I really don't want another set. And I know all about the pain in the backside laws of the Northern states. I was originally certified and graduated from a NY state school. I actually almost moved to PA bc my brother lived in Lansdale but I never applied for a job/teaching license and then he moved to SC anyways.

Stick around I am trying to get all our wedding pics uploaded so I can show everyone... then we will get to the actual TR... he has to help me with that bc I didn't write a single thing down and he has a much better memory than me.

I am going to do a wedding post tonight. We tried getting all our pics in and some are messed up but I am just going to do the update with the good pics because I don't want to hold this up anymore. Then hopefully I will get onto the TR from the honeymoon.

Thanks for reading!! And your engagement story (as I posted in someone elses pj in reply to you) was amazing as well.... literally I got goosebumps and I felt like I actually knew you I was so excited for you!

Ok here is the long awaited wedding post.... well long awaited to those of you that are reading anyways haha

So the day finally came...we waited 2 years for this day and I was so excited. Now, the night before the wedding we had me, my niece, my MOH, my friend and bridesmaid, and my mom in one hotel room with one bed and a pull out sofa that slept 1. So just for kicks we took this picture
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/4811_1155828545001_1506333263_39773.jpg
Needless to say, we spent a lot of time laughing that night. So to wake up for hair the next day was rough. The limo came to pick us up from the hotel at about 8. We brought fruit, bagels, and juice to eat while we were getting our hair done. It was a good time. My niece had the best before and after pics so I will share those with you now...
before:

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/5930_119451289760_512399760_1989588.jpg

Once we finished the hair and makeup we went back to the hotel to get ready. THe flowers and photographer were there and shortly after, the videographer came. So now in our one hotel room we had 5 girls, me, a flower girl, my mom, my cousin, my brothers girlfriend, the photog, and the videog.... yep it was a little crowded! My MOH took Tim's gift up to him (which we don't have a picture of). He got a watch with a black face and Donald Duck on it. On the back I engraved it with I Love You 6.27.09.... however he didn't think to look and didn't know I did that until I told him at the church. His best man brought down my gift which were 1ct princess cut diamond earrings. (and after looking I see I don't have a good picture of those either.) Tim also got his flat screen tv when we returned from the honeymoon that he wanted.

While we were getting ready we took some pictures in the room. First is the "hanging dress" picture... except we didn't take my train down. Oh well..
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0001.jpg
Next is my amazing flower girl. There is a background story on her too.. (besides the dress drama you read about in an earlier post). She met Tim 4 years ago when we started dating. He and I went to pick her up to take her to the zoo. When she saw him, she decided she didn't want to like him and was going to be afraid of him. By the end of the trip, she LOVED him. However... every time she saw him after that she pretended to be afraid of him. We thought this was going to be a problem at the wedding but we were wrong (as you will later see in pictures). She did amazing and did everything anyone asked.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0004.jpg

With the dress drama, we bought Sophia shoes.... and we matched so we took a pic!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0020.jpg

And my flowers, that I LOVED!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0024.jpg

Now to understand how sweet this story is about my dad, you have to know about my dad. He is VERY particular, OCD, and neruotic. He was coming into our room once I was all ready and as he opened the door he was so mad because he was running late. He came in and saw me dressed and all his cares were gone. It was amazing! Here is a picture of me and my dad... I didn't really pin his flower on. I have NEVER known how to get it right. So my mom did it after I posed.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0022.jpg

After this, the photographer went to make sure Tim had officially left the hotel so it was clear for me to go take pictures. He was gone so we went to take pictures in the lobby. Here are a couple that we took.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0034.jpg

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0063.jpg

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0065.jpg

Up next... the church, how did Tim react when he saw me, and why didn't the ring bearer walk on that white carpet?

Thanks! I had to stop because I have to get ready to run errands when Tim gets home in about an hour. Then I sadly have to get some lesson planning done and after that I will work on getting the wedding ceremony post done. Maybe while I am planning I can convince Tim to fix the pictures. I'm checking in! I know I'm a little late, but I love a good wedding and Disneymoon story. I cheated and went to the back, so I'll have to catch up...You were a beautiful bride!

My DS and DDIL, both 24 just finished their Master's and moved to Texas for their first year of teaching. She'll be teaching 8th grade math and he will be teaching 6th grade social studies, both in the same middle school. It's too bad they place so many demands on teachers these days.

Thank you!! It's ok, you have plenty of time to catch up. We have to try and reload all our pics. I am probably going to just finish the wedding posts with the pics that turned out alright.

I hope they enjoy teaching. First year is a real pain in the backside...heck I am on my 3rd year and I am sure it will STILL be tough. You are right they place too many demands on teachers. That is why so many leave the profession so soon after their first year. I have heard of teachers not even trying to get through the 1st year and just giving up because of all the stress. Luckily I made it to year 3, so we will see how this year goes.

Although if I keep sitting here and posting and reading, this year won't go so swell because I won't be prepared haha. I am off to plan the first science unit of the year. And tomorrow I head in to set up my class (and the rest of this week for that matter) so another update probably won't happen too soon, but I will try for Tuesday night when my husband is at work.

Off I go...:teacher: (I just had to figure out how to get this cute guy in there lol)

Thanks!! We did have a fun night...we literally laughed until we crashed.
I am constantly doing work lately. I am trying to get 2-3 weeks of lesson plans done. And I don't just mean the little boxes in the plan book. Full typed out step by step plans. I went to set up my class today.... 5 hours later and it looks like a tornado came through. It is a mess haha BUT I got all 3 of my bulletin boards covered in paper... which usually is a battle for me, but I had Tim there today.

Ok off to finish week 3 of science. Hoping for a post tomorrow night.

Well I walked in and mine looked so sparkly and clean (well not my walls because those are just disgusting, but that is another story) and then.... i brought all my boxes in and dumped stuff out of my cabinets and onto the floor...oy

I am trying to make it this year without a desk because 1. it takes up too much space and 2. my desk from last year collapsed while we were moving it, so there is no need to keep that hazardous thing in my class.

The teacher across the hall and I decided that if we are going to spend half our daily lives in our class, it needs to be pretty. So my color scheme is pink and orange. It is starting to look pretty. But, I don't think my boys will appreciate all the pink. It's ok though because I am team teaching with the girl across the hall and her scheme is brown, teal, and lime green. So a boy and girl room lol

Both of you need the teacher I shared a room with last year!

When she found out I would be moving out of the room, she took it upon herself (with the custodian's help) to move almost all of my stuff out of the room.

Unfortunately, she does not not know that I am scheming to acquire some precious shelves that she thinks belong to her.....:rotfl2:

We both teach math.

She is Title I, teaches part-time, and has two classes a day.

I teach At-Risk Math. I am responsible for screening and progress monitoring all the students at our school. I only used the room as a work station and a place to store my materials. She grew to despise me when she determined (in her opinion) that I was not doing my job. She even tattled to the assistant superintendent about me and the principal, to no avail.

Ok, we left off right before I headed to the church

We got into the limo and the first thing I saw was Tim's phone on the seat... I had my sister in law text her husband (tim's brother) and tell him to leave it in the limo, because I knew he would forget and bring it in the church. 1 point for Tim! Then we sit down and across from me I see our marriage license, and a few beer cans...we can see why they forgot the license :) good thing we were there. My MOH brought it to the priest when we got there. When we got to the church, I OF COURSE had to use the bathroom so decided it was best to just undress and redress rather than holding all that dress up.. so we did. I looked in the mirror and said "my lipstick"... it was in the limo that no one could find. So my sister in law went into the church on the hunt for some lipstick and found a pretty one!! Relieved, I was ready to go.

When we were told it was time to line up my MOH started crying, so of course I did too. I only cried when I saw her crying.
And so we were off... Everyone knows what a wedding ceremony is like so I will let the pictures do the work for this post (because I unfortunately have to get back to doing work). I will explain a few pictures...

at rehearsal, the lady who ran it was, well to put it lightly, brutal! she was so mean she scared my ring bearer. she told the kids who pulled out my aisle runner to make sure not to step on it. Because of this.. you see my flower girl telling the ring bearer its ok... he did NOT step on that thing

and this is a story.. Tim was to take the plate with the bread on it from his cousin. well he was so disheveled that he thought he was supposed to take the bread right off the plate and break it... so we all got a good laugh at that one

WHAT?! see we do go to school too long. Student last day is may 21 and we work on the 24 and 25! I am not sure why we are in school so long and have less days off. for example, our parent teacher conferences are held on columbus day and then presidents day. So yes, the kids get off, but we dont.

Anyways... no disney trips in the plan but we are planning to to go Jamaica for our one year. We so wanted to get into DVC but it just can't happen with our stupid student loans. We would have had to finance it which I am fine with and the downpayment would have been less than our trip to Jamaica will cost us (and where we are going is a DVC place) but that's ok. My best friend is coming down in October so I am taking that thursday off and we are already off on that friday, so thats a mini vaca haha.

We both thought that after 2 weeks (and my 1 prior week) in disney, we would be ok with not being there, but the other day we both said we miss it. But it just isn't in the cards for next year :( my goal is to get all our credit card bills paid off by march because our PLAN is in oct of 2010 we are going to start trying for a baby (my best friends wedding is that month and no way do i want to be pregnant waddling down the aisle lol)

Off to go look at my to do list and watch it grow haha

How exciting, closing on a house and starting school? You will be a busy, busy, girl.
Can't wait for the update!

Hi I'm back and really trying to catch up, so I skipped to your wedding! You had a beautiful wedding! The pics of the ring bearer are so cute - too bad he was scared  Some people take their duties so seriously.

Sounds like you'll be busy. A lady here breeds what she calls "chawieners" , chihuahua and daschund mix. They are so cute - really a nice mix of personalities. Have fun!

Gina, loved the photo shoot pics! I'm either out of the loop or we don't do those in Kansas. It seems there are pictures at the church and that's about it. Yours turned out just beautiful!
I'm voting for the doxie/poo
We know a schnauzer/doxie and he is just a sweetie! His name is Willy and he is our friends grand-dog.
WE have a chihuahua that is marked just like the pinny poo and he is a biter! He loves his family but anyone else that comes near better watch their ankle! We have an exchange student arriving on Monday and I fear this dog may be wearing a muzzle until the end of May!

No photo sessions in Kansas? After the church and before the reception people don't go to a location for fun bridal party pics?! That was one of my favorite parts of the day. Our photographer actually does a drunken bridal party shot where everyone is sitting on steps looking drunk and all over the place with empty bottles all around. It woulda been fun but we didn't do it because I originally said no way am I sitting on the ground with that dress. I forgot to tell them I changed my mind because I was gonna lay across some people instead. Oh well. We got some really cute ones.

My best friend is bringing her dog down when she comes to visit. I call her my niece dog... and since I will have a dog, they are cousins and we are going to take them for pictures :rotfl:

I picked the dachsund/poodle. My experience with min pins and chihuahuas are they are hyper. Poodles can be, but they don't shed! (of course that means you have to trim their hair). Dachsunds have always been fairly calm for little dogs! And they're pretty brave.

Gina, as for advice about telling whom ever you decided not to buy the puppy from, I would just say that you did some research and decided that another breed would be the best match for you!

Another Paco the Chihuahua story.....,
We really tried to socialize him well when he was a puppy, I had a little purse that I carried him to T-ball and softball games almost every evening in the summer. He was friendly and seemed to like everyone then...
Winter came and well, we just didn't get him out much, but as Baylor started to have friends come over he became aggressive towards strangers. Well I can't even say strangers, he goes after anyone that wasn't a core member of the family when he was a puppy. He has known the neighbor kids for years and hates them. We even have to muzzle him when our granddaughter is over. She has been a regular visitor since she was tiny. I thought as she grew he would get used to her but I caught him sneaking over to nip her the other day....

I just wanted to thank everyone for their votes in my puppy poll. I had decided to go with the pinny poo chihuahua because the owner emailed me such details about her family and everything else that I felt like it was right. I never told the other lady that I did not want the doxie poo just in case, and had planned on emailing her this week with my decision. However I have since stopped hearing back from either of them. :( So I guess it is back to square one for us and the puppy. I really don't want to go through the hunting online again especially because there is always that chance the dog won't like us. There was that chance with these 2 also, but I felt like the people I was dealing with were different.

Beautiful Pics!!

We LOVE the bills... and since we no longer live in Buffalo.. my husband gets excited for the schedule to come out just so he can see what games are close enough for us to go to. We were looking at TN, ATL, and KC this year. TN sold out but we will probably get tickets on stubhub. KC we went to last year and it was a blast! (It helps that was one of the games we won!!) The hotel was walking distance to the stadium and was full of bills fans!!

Thank you all for the picture compliments. Tim has told me that he is halfway through the reception pictures (on top of packing our stuff up while I am at work). We are supposed to close on Friday. If all goes well we will be moved in mostly this weekend.

I know I am a bit late for your puppy poll but I would have to got with the min pin mix....as you can see by my avatar that is my boy Ziggy! He is a min pin and is very sweet albeit to a few kids who are a bit aggressive towards him. He is seven years old and I drop him off at my parents every day for day care :rolleyes1 while I am work. He doesn't mind being left alone there but if I leave my house he goes crazy if I don't take him. I guess you could say that makes him a bit high maintenance! ;) He is a very animated dog and loves to cuddle. The daschund mix would be good too but a few people I know have had problems with their backs? The most important thing with any small dog is no people food so they do not become overweight....it is easy for a small dog to pack on the pounds!! :dog:
Phew!! That being said...:rotfl: your pictures are stunning! I love the colors, the backgrounds and you had a beautiful bouquet :flower3:

Aw look at your cute little dog!! I have always wanted a maltese or a maltese mix and am just having the hardest time finding one. And that little pinnypoo chihuahua was just too cute... but like I said, the lady hasnt responded to my phone calls or emails in a week. :confused3

ok I finally have time to do this so I am officially back!! I am going to write about our reception, day 1, and then do a house/puppy update!!

So we left off with the photo session... after these were finished, we went to the reception. I needed to get my train bustled and unfortunately my best friend from TN was unable to make it to the wedding and she was the one who was doing my bustle... it was a hard bustle. Well after 20 minutes and 4 adult women trying to bustle my dress (it kept falling), Tim's aunt got some pins and we pinned it up. It turned out fantastic!! I wish I woulda known... coulda saved a couple hundred dollars!!

The reception was amazing!! I hated my dj lol but we still had a good time! When it was time for our introductions, everyone besides us came in to You've Got a Friend in Me...from Toy Story... because it makes me think of Pizza Planet in DHS lol... WE of course came in to the Buffalo Bills shout song. People from buffalo know how everyone claps at a bills game during this.... EVERYONE at our reception did the clap AND the repeating parts of the song. It was by far the best entrance ever (ok...I am a little biased lol) Here is the head table having a good time during the shout song..
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0434.jpg

Oh... I also want to show off my home made card box...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/6530_553323338865_43400087_32745-1.jpg (We got engaged in Disney and displayed our cards on the table)

After our entrance were the speeches... we had 4 of them.. my dad welcomed everyone, the best man called me Tina, instead of Gina (it's because people mix Tim and Gina all the time... tim never dated a tina lol), the moh was the sweetest ever, and my brother gave a speech and got all choked up. He really does love me haha

After dinner, we went to cut the cake. Before we did, my godmother gave us a gift she got us while she was in Disney. One was the Mickey/Minnie bride/groom salt/pepper shakers...those broke on our move to our new house :( it took all of me not to cry. The other was this...

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0488.jpg

We decided that we were not going to smash the cake. So we nicely fed the cake (the ONLY bite of my cake that I got :( ) and then did the nice kiss.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0492.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0494.jpg

Well tim's cousin and jr gm wanted him to smash it so tim pretended to hold me back. The photographer wanted him to do it again so she could take a picture. I gave Harry (the cousin) a tiny piece of cake and told him to PRETEND to smash it in my face... I am sure you know where this is going...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/5650_552445223615_43400087_32705807.jpg

Here I am ducking away... he ended up getting me...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0499.jpg

Here I am wiping it off. What we dont have on film is the cake hitting me and that I went back and got it on him. I wasn't mad don't worry!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0500.jpg

After all this hooplah we went to do our first dance, the bridal party dance, father daughter, and mother son... I am only posting our dance.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/scan0506.jpg

We danced a bit.. took some fun pics with friends.. like this (We played softball together.. she played 1st I played 2nd.. our team was awful and the 2 of us pretty much made all the plays so we did superstar a lot... so here it is)

Monday June 29...

It was FINALLY the day of our two week disneymoon. I am NOT a morning person at all and we had to leave I think at around 4am. But I was so excited to be married and on my way to Disney I was raring to go!

I have no airport/plane pictures and my details may be sparse... I'm sorry. It's been a while!

We got to Disney and in line for the Magical Express. We got right on!! Our first week we stayed at Pop Century. We did this so that we could afford the 2nd week and stay where we wanted..

After we got our room (which I think was maybe 2 or 3 hours after we got there... we hung out at Everything Pop because we were so tired) we got ready and headed to the boardwalk. I don't recall ever being here. And if I had been... not in the past 5 years. So I took a couple pictures...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1339.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1341.jpg

And off we went to ESPN zone. Tim had been wanting to eat here since we went in 07 so we made sure to do it. I LOVED it and we ended up going back later in the trip. Don't ask me what foods we got because I didn't write a thing down and didn't take pics, but it was declicious. I know mine was loaded nachos (or whatever they are called). I am not sure what Tim got. But it was a TON of food.

Here we are before the food came...

And the napkin. I thought they were cute!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1349.jpg

After we ate we walked around and looked for anything from any buffalo sports team.
We took a seat on the big comfy chairs...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1356.jpg

And then found this...

Jim Kelly's jersey. I LOVE what he wrote. He is such a good guy in Buffalo.

and then THOUGHT we were walking back to where we needed to be to get on the boat or whatever it was we were trying to find... needless to say... I led the way and walked us all the way back to DHS

I guess it was good to work off all the calories we just ate haha

We got back to the hotel and took a couple pictures.

Up next... a break from the trip report to show you my house and introduce you to Roscoe!!

Gina, what a great update!
First I'll comment on the wedding, everything turned out so beautifully. I'm glad you got the problem taken care of with the train.
Your new home is gorgeous! Are you having fun decorating? I can't wait to see pictures of your new lawn and landscaping! How cool to have that patio and outdoor fireplace!
Roscoe is such a cutie! How is life with a puppy? It looks like he enjoys a good chew!
It looks like you guys got a great start on your Disneymoon at ESPN club, isn't the Boardwalk a fun area?

Thanks! Roscoe is so cute but potty training OYYY it is killing me!! How long did it take you and what did you guys do? He hates to be locked up when we leave and he won't stop crying if we lock him up at night! I hope the disney part of the tr is good... I didn't write a thing down and am doing things by memory from the pictures lol if nothing else there will be some good pictures haha

Thank you! That train was such an ordeal. We had no idea why it wouldn't stay up! The girl at davids bridal did it so easily!

We haven't decorated too too much in the house yet. We have a ton of frames and no pictures in them. We are waiting to get our wedding pictures but we keep changing our minds on what to order and I have a ton of questions to ask my photographer but haven't gotten ahold of him yet.

The patio and fireplace were an upgrade that we paid for but we figure it will help with resale when that time comes.

Roscoe is a handfull! He has barely learned his name still haha. He is cutting teeth so he does chew, but luckily he doesn't chew things he isn't supposed to. The only thing he chews, that he probably shouldn't, is Tim's shoe, but it is an old one so Tim doesn't care, and he doesn't think he is allowed to chew other shoes so we let it go.

The boardwalk area is so nice! What hotels are over there?

The Boardwalk has rooms just over the actual Boardwalk area and just behind it. Then there is the Swan and Dolphin. Across the lake you have the Yacht and Beach Club resorts. It's such a great area!

It took us a long long time.. because Shih Tzu are stuborn breed... but she's got the hang of it now.. in the beginning we took her out as soon as she woke up, after play, 20 minutes after she ate any meal, after a nap and before a meal. We also picked up her food and water dish.. to control things a bit better... now she's old enough we leave it down all the time.

She never cried at night, we got her a frabic crate, a heart beat pillow (which resembles a human heartbeat.. so they don't feel alone) and we got her a little toy that you heat up in the microwave and it would be warm in her bed. She loves her bed... she'll just crawl right it in now when she needs a rest.

I can't wait for your next update.... popcorn::

Oh man... we take him out constantly!! We do the same with the timing of taking him out and picking up the food. Well, we pick it up when we aren't home. If I am home I will leave it because he gets so excited to play that he forgets to eat.

We had a fabric crate oh man he hated that worse than this one. We now have a normal metal crate and I put a blanket down for him. He will go in to play and eat if i put his food in it. But lock him in and it's like it's the end of the world!!

I have to run errands today and try to figure out our photographer order. If there is time after all that I may start day 2. My posts won't be long at all because I have no details lol. So it shouldn't take too long to get through 2 weeks.

Hi Gina! I'm finally caught up, and it looks like you've been busy, so thanks for giving me a chance! :goodvibes I loved your photo shoot pics - beautiful!
Your TR is off to a great start! Roscoe is so cute! If you haven't started yet, I would take him to puppy class. We trained puppies without it, and when we did the puppy class, we learned so much and had so much success, I would never get another puppy without it.

Your house is beautiful! Congratulations! How is your school year going? My DS and his wife (both new teachers) have had a few surprises in Texas, but they are loving it there, and their first house is just about finished, too!

Gina, hi! At least give me an update on what's going on at school....
Did you change grade levels?

I didn't change grades!!! I am so happy about it. We were over enrolled though so we had a tonnnnn of extra kids. We finally got a new third grade teacher and evened out our classes. It is so nice to have 20 or less now. I am team teaching and that is great... but we just found out that next year we won't be allowed to team teach :( A lot of things are going on and now it is already time for fall exhibition so that is chaos. Every class has to do a project based learning and well with all the curriculum guides to follow I am going crazy. I am actually caught up this week and I think I will do an update tonight!

Hey I am glad my temporary disappearance helped you catch up :) We love Roscoe he is adorable... we didn't do puppy classes yet. I keep thinking about it but it just hasn't happened. He is typically really good for the most part. Thanks for the house compliment. We just got our washer and dryer last week so now it is complete! I love it!! My school year is going much better this year than last and I have an amazing class. It will be hard to give them up at the end of the year. I actually considered looping to 4th grade with them but I can not see myself starting a new grade over again.

Well... it has been quite a while since an update... and even longer since the honeymoon. So please forgive me if this ends up short and not very detailed. This will most likely end up being a picture TR with a few stories.. Like I said before, I never wrote a thing down and was depending on pictures to remember what happened each day. And Tim was supposed to serve as my memory, and he is working tonight so... with all that said..

June 30, 2009... MK and Epcot

We started this day by going to MK... I told Tim that I wanted to do EVERYTHING this year because we had 2 weeks to get it all in... and I definitely wanted to get someone to get on those teacups with me... He just lets me be happy in Disney and does whatever I want so I had hoped he would be the one to go on the teacups with me. When we got there, we stopped for the obligatory picture in front of the castle...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1390.jpg

The shirt I got the design from the creative boards here and it says Just Married 6.27.09 I love it!!

I did not take tons of pics of everything we did (I guess I will have to take another trip just so I can take tons of pics and write everything down and do a better trip report next time) but the next thing I have a pic of is this..
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1399.jpg
meaning we went to HM next. Tim hadn't been on this because it was closed last time we were here (I think).

We went on IASW and I swear I take the same pictures every time I go on that ride. Someday I am going to learn to take good pictures so that I can be a little more creative with them. But I always take this one
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1448.jpg
because I took German in school
and this one
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1449.jpg
because my dad loves hawaii lol

And so the time finally came.... here we were looking at the teacups... And the line...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1453.jpg

And I have the best husband ever because he went on and even let me take a pic!!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1454.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1455.jpg

We met Buzz before getting on CoP. And I am sure we did plenty more that day but I just can't remember :(
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1459.jpg

I guess we went back to the hotel for a bit because later on we went to Epcot and I am in different clothes...which will have to be in my next post because my computer is going way too slow for me to have patience to upload everything... and just maybe Tim might remember more of what happened on this day.

Thank you! School... is why I am just now getting back to this.... months later!! It has been crazy hectic and I have a very low class so I am struggling with state testing going to be coming up! But I do love love my kids. They are very well behaved and being that I team teach, I have 40 kids this year and some of them have such amazing personalities... but next year it is no more team teaching because we are applying for IB school :( that is a whole other stress and I just had to sign a 3 year contract... cross your fingers I don't lose it in these 3 years.

Haha it is and I am on spring break now, which is why I have suddenly appeared again. How is school going for you?

We are at my brother's in SC which is very near Hilton Head (10 minutes about) and Tim has decided we need DVC lol. And I know they say not to use your points for other places but the way I have worked it out in my head is this...

Get 160 pts. Stay at the villas (I think they were the ones I looked at) that are about 76 points for a week during the time we would go. (or 93 for our other normal vacation time)...

Then bank the remaining 94 or 77. The next year use our 160 points to go elsewhere and use our banked points to make it back to disney. I am not sure if it will work out to be worth it or not and I really hate the idea of the maintenance fees so I am going to see what makes more sense for us. Just pay for trips out of pocket each year, or go this route.

Day 2 Part 2 Epcot

Like I said (a long time ago) we must have went back to the hotel and changed because here we are at epcot in different clothes...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/Image028.jpg

We went on Spaceship Earth first and I didn't tell Tim about the cool picture thing. My head got chopped off a little bit so I looked a little ridiculous. But it was fun anyways. And seeing where everyone was from on the map was awesome! We played around for a bit
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1506.jpg

and then went to The Seas with Nemo and friends
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1509.jpg

... and of course took the picture. I LOVE this picture area...
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1530.jpg

Day 3 July 1

Today we went to DHS. I love this park and am apparently one of the few people that just NEED to be in this park more than one day haha.

We of course stopped for the picture in front of the ears.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1574.jpg

And did our first magic shot!!! This became Tim’s new favorite thing to find.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/Image037.jpg

On the way to Lights Motors Action, I found the umbrella… but isn’t water supposed to come out? I couldn’t figure out how to make that happen, but I posed for a picture anyways.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1537.jpg

Onto the show…. I NEVER catch this picture and was so proud to catch it I need to post it.. usually I am busy being amazed but since I had seen the show 2x before, I figured I could be ready this time.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1569.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1570.jpg

(Ok looking back I guess I wasn’t as prepared as I thought lol but I still like the picture)

We went and took some pictures in front of ToT…
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1577.jpg

again Tim found a magic shot… see the guy back right blue hat, looking at us like we are crazy lol (and thank you Disney photographers for making it look like I have super skinny legs)
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/Image044.jpg

We went to my new favorite place next…
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1580.jpg

We ended up here multiple times throughout the trip after finding out we could bypass the mooshoo (idk how that is supposed to be spelled) show and get right into the drawing part.

While we were waiting for the next drawing class we met Mickey.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1594.jpg

Then we saw these guys…. And see I posed like the girl… Tim, he didn’t so much realize he shoulda posed too but it is ok.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1600.jpg

Here are our drawings…

Mine
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1602.jpg

Tim’s
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1603.jpg

(We both think I was better at this than him haha)

We went to see beauty and the beast and then went in the walt’s life walk through… Im sorry idk what it is called, all I know is that is was nice and cold in there…

And FINALLY our fast pass for TSM was ready… Tim loves this ride now!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1663.jpg

And all of a sudden in my pictures it is night time so again, the camera went away.

We did the great movie ride and we had a boring host and a terrible gangster girl, but I still love the ride.

Hey! Thanks!!! I made the box because when we went to look at our reception location we went into a room and, no joke, it looked like I was staring at my future wedding 2 years in advance. The people who were getting married in there that night were disney obsessed too and they had a card box like that.

I got a round hat box and 4 small styrofoam disks.I glued 2 styrofoam circles together to make each ear. I covered everything in batting to make it so you couldnt see through the silk. Then I covered the batting with white silk (all hot glued... I can sew but just didn't feel like it for this). Then I put the rhinestones on. It was allllll hot glued together lol. And I used some pins to hold it down. On the drive to Buffalo for the wedding the ears fell off and we ended up using metal kabob skewers haha. We stuck the top in between the two styrofoam pieces (that made up each ear) and shoved it into the card box. haha it sounds really complicated but it wasn't. we JUST threw it out. if we hadn't I woulda offered to ship it to u :(

I know...:cutie: Any new updates?

I wrote one up I just haven't inputted the pictures to it yet. Hopefully this weekend

Day 4 July 2 Epcot

Today we decided to go to Epcot. When we got there we posed for some pictures. We knew we were getting the photopass cd so we took a lot of pictures this trip.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1702-1.jpg

We went over to World showcase to start touring the countries.

We decided to eat at the tangerine café and both got a chicken wrap. This..is where it all went…downhill….

Here we are all happy.. remember this, because later tonight it doesn’t seem like this picture was a good time.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1703-1.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/Image070-1.jpg

When I went to Disney a month prior with my best friend (we celebrated my bachelorette party by going to Disney) I introduced her to pick a pearl. I had never done it but heard all about it here on the dis and I knew she would enjoy it. I knew I wasn’t going to do it until our honeymoon because tim said it was something we could do when we went so I could get a jewelry item from our honeymoon. It was finally my time to pick a pearl.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1704-1.jpg

I ended up not getting a large pearl but I love it. I had it put into a charm for a necklace that has hearts on it. I don’t have a picture of it but I wear it regularly.

After walking around a bit more we both started feeling sick and decided to go back to the hotel to rest. Tim assured me we could go see illuminations so after a nap we got up, got ready, and went back to epcot.

We got there a picked a spot to watch. Tim still wasn’t feeling good so he took our backpack, put it under his head, and laid down. We made it through illuminations…
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1719-1.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1751-1.jpg

And when it was over we were going to try to find me some food to eat because I was really hungry. We stood up and tim said he wasn’t going to make it. Of course we were NO WHERE near a bathroom and he ended up (grossness alert) getting sick all over! Morocco lunch came back up and ended up back in Morocco. People probably thought tim couldn’t handle his alcohol but that was NOT the case. We ended up running through the countries to find a bathroom (I can’t see well in the dark nor can I read a map so me leading the way for his sick self was an awful disaster.) We got back to the hotel , got him some pepto (ew) and went back to the room.

Up next.... a lazy day and 4th of july!

Day 5 July 3 sick day

Today we spent the day in the hotel room. Tim was sick all night and we were not going to go spend a day in the heat in a park if he was just going to be sick. He offered to go with me to the pool but I didn’t want him sitting in the heat. I called the tangerine café just to let them know he got sick (I felt sick too after we ate but I managed to keep it down somehow) and the guy was really rude to me. All I wanted to do was alert them of a chance that someone else may end up sick and to be careful…. he didn’t see it that way and was telling me tim just couldn’t handle spicey food. It wasn’t spicy… I decided not to deal with the issue anymore and if anyone else got sick at least I gave them warning. Later in the day we decided to go to Disney Quest. We figured at least if he didn’t feel well there would be plenty of restrooms accessible and we weren’t out in the heat. At dinner time he said he was feeling hungry and wanted to eat so we went to planet Hollywood. He ended up eating half his food and didn’t get sick, just still wasn’t feeling too great. We hopped on a bus back to pop, empty bag in hand in case he got sick again ☹ The good news was, he made it without getting sick!

Day 6 July 4 Happy 4th of July in MK

I was looking forward to today for a long time. We had ADRs for breakfast at the castle. I offered on day 4 to call and cancel since tim was sick but being the amazing guy he is he told me not to cancel we would go. Now I wish we would have cancelled. I am a VERY picky eater and this food was awful to us!

Walking in we got a picture in front of the castle with no people!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1783-1.jpg

We met the princesses- who didn’t really care about us, because we were adults. This aggravated me because we paid just as much as everyone else in that place! Ariel completely walked right by us. A guy at the table next to us even noticed that they princesses weren’t paying attention to us and were just rushing to take their pic and leave. Our waitress was also miserable… long story short, I hated it and will probably never go back.

After breakfast we decided I needed a pic on the circle where we started our engagement spinning.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1800.jpg

Then met the fairy godmother who was not in character with us at all… and I was so excited to meet her too ☹

We took some pictures and saw the stage show. I wont post those pictures, I want to make this quick.

We were walking by splash mountain and saw a photopass photog and got one of my favorite pics.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/Image081.jpg

Then tim was dying to play the shooting game. I promised him we could do this and he had a blast.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1847-1.jpg

We went to see the hall of presidents show with obama. It was neat to see it with him in it. Im not into politics in the least, but tim loves it and all that history stuff. So he had a good time.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1852.jpg

After this we had lunch and got a spot to see the parade. Stitch got right in my face for this picture.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1920-1.jpg

We met some characters…

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1932-1.jpg

(I never beat tim on buzz…… his gun was malfunctioning so that’s how I won this time shhhh lol)

Took a picture of a window with one of tim’s relatives names on it (I don’t remember the whole story of who he is and why his name is there, tim’s uncle told us to look for it while we were there and we found it)
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1956-1.jpg

Did a few more rides and found our places for the fireworks. I think we had our spots for a few hours. It was crazy crowded.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1998-1.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_1991.jpg

And then saw 4th of july fireworks in MK (when we booked our trip 2 years prior, the trip we got engaged on, we had wanted to stay in Disney for the 4th but the one girl who came with didn’t want to not be home for the 4th so we were so excited to be in Disney for the 4th)
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a61/sprklineyez143/IMG_2089-1.jpg

Thanks... it sucked that he got so sick. He sucked it up after that first day but I could tell he still wasn't feeling fantastic.

I noticed after this trip that the photopass people did soooo much more with us when we were on our honeymoon than this year. I guess just married buttons are better than happy anniversary lol

Yea those crowds were out of control. So any other time we go, I just say "the crowds aren't as bad as 4th of July"

I never noticed the circle until we got engaged either. It is behind the castle.

Maybe I will be fantastic and update again today lol probably with just pics because the next day is AK and i have no clue what we did besides the safari lol

Hey thanks! I hope you enjoy teaching and don't let all the nonsense take away the reason u got into it. I have, more times than I can count, let all the BS from the school building get to me so much that I wanted to leave the career. But I go into my classroom and realize what I am doing and why I am there. Thanks for all the compliments. Our photog did that pose. I just told her I wanted one with all the guys. You definitely should do the pose... just be careful of the guys flowers.. I knocked the best mans flower right off lol.
