My girlfriend and I are going to be on the Deluxe Dining Plan during the Food and Wine Festival, which means we should have a vast number of snack credits to play with. While I know what counts as a snack most of the time, my question is what kinds of things count as snacks at the Food and Wine Festival. From reading about previous years' events, I know there is a lobster roll with my name on it, but it goes for like $7. Does the $4 rule still apply, or do all foods count as snacks at the festival?

Last year it was possible to get any food or non-alcoholic beverage item from any World Showcase kiosk, regardless of cost. Yes, that included the $7 lobster roll.

Items that can be purchased using a snack credit will be labeled with the 'snack' symbol on the kiosk menus. Generally they are items under $4, but not always. All foods do NOT count as snacks.

I didn't take note of that, though I did see the snack symbols. I wasn't in a snacky mood last fall so I did the showcase without making a purchase. It would be nice if they did that again this year!

It's been all food items for the past two years. Prior to 2007 it was food items under $4.

We grazed around the kiosks last year and used all of our snack credits in one day! Excellent value.:thumbsup2

:rotfl: Indeed, without making a FOOD purchase. I have to say the Grey Goose citron martini slush from the France Pavilion was delicious... as was the Rosa Regala (sp) from the Italy Pavilion. That was a fun afternoon, wasn't it?
