Hi there!

This is my first time posting, but I've been lurking so much the past couple of weeks, I feel like i know so many people already!

I am in the midst of planning my family's first week long trip to WDW during Dec. 5-13. It's not our first trip though -- we did a 3 day trip exactly 1 year ago (a week in FL, but only 3 days at wdw, but that's enough to get one hooked!).

I grew up in Orlando, FL, but now live in WI. I *know* I'm crazy -- every year we try to figure out how to get back to FL, but it costs so much to move. Plus, WI is a great place to raise a family! So, I grew up going to Disney quite often. We spent every Christmas there, went to Epcot when it first opened, heck I even worked at MGM Studios for a year.

Anyway, maybe I'll go post a pre-trip report and maybe a post trip of last years visit. It's good to come out of lurkedom.

And now, I'm off to figure out how to post one of those countdown ticker thingys.

Hi there and welcome! It's really easy to add a countdown ticker to your signature. Just go to www.******************** and create a ticker. Then copy the link and come back to the boards. Click on User CP which is on the top lefthand side of the page. Next, click on Edit Signature and paste your magicalkingdoms link and click on Edit Signature. Ta! Da! Your ticker should appear!

Thanks for the welcome! I am having a mini "just me" trip in September. My dh is flying me down for my b-day and I am going to go to wdw with my sister. (she and her dh have annual passes) We are going to do the MNSSHP that day as well. I know it's only one day, but I'm pretty excited about it.

Our family's next big trip is Dec 5-13, 2009. We'll be staying at Pop then and it will be the longest I've ever stayed on the property. Usually we stay at family's homes and just spend a couple of days at the park. This time, we wanted to get the whole disney experience and decided to stay there the whole time.
