HI! I requested 4 different rooms in Casitas 1 or 3 and Cabanas 9 a or b. The requests are on my confirmations sheet. I was wondering how often, if anyone knows, room requests are honored at CSR.

You see, I am blister prone and no matter what I do...moleskin...socks..multiple socks...water shoes...I get blisters. At the end of each day it is often difficult to walk to my room. So, the closer to the main building and bus sttop the better...

Thanks,
Melissa

Melissa,

CSR has honored my requests every time I've stayed there (about five times). I make my requests via fax directly to the resort within three days of my arrival.

:D

When Piglet203 and I were at the CSR a few weeks ago, we had requested a room in the Cabanas section but ended up getting a room in the Ranchos section, which we loved. We were told that we could have a room in the Cabanas section but that it might not be ready until 5 P.M. We arrived at the resort around 11:30 A.M. We would have waited but we had a 6:10 P.M. priority seating arrangement at Cinderella's Royal Table and we needed to freshen yup before we went. The chances of your request getting fulfilled seems to be pretty good. It was difficult for us because we arrived on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and there were a lot of people there. Have a great time!

I have always had my requests honored but we have never been there during peak time.

Have you tried sandals. My wife was always prone to blisters and she wore the Nike Strap runners that were on sale at JustFeet.com and she didn't get on blister on our past trip. I have also read that nylons work to prevent blisters so maybe you could try those ped nylons to help prevent blisters.

Good luck!

Honestly I have tried everything. I wear sandels and still get them...I think it's the humidity that my feet are not accustomed to. It get humnid in the east...but not like down south!
