Any info on potential Universal Podcast cruise??

I haven't been around for a while.... any new info on the June/July Universal podcast? Is it still in the works?
Thanks for any info... I was just budgeting for future vacations and wondered if it was going to be an option.

I haven't heard much of anything. Anxiously waiting news. But completely understand. I'm sure Universal & Royal Caribbean are no faster than Disney when it comes to working out details.

I'm patiently waiting for more information on this as well. Pete said in the last podcast that he is still in negotations with RCCL/universal. I'm pretty sure it will be in July 2010.
I'm hoping for something "dis-special" for the harry potter wizzarding world. We are taking my mom on this trip and she is so excited to go there. Well we all are.

You can say that again! We were already planning on going to US (for the first time) next year, solely because of the new Harry Potter area. Having just gotten back from our first DCL cruise on the Wonder, the idea of a land/sea combo for US sounds irresistible! :thumbsup2

I was actually just thinking about this a few minutes ago. John did mention in last week's chat that they were finding the negotiations for it much more difficult than anticipated. That has me worried that it could fall through, but I trust Pete and know he'll find a way.

This is going to be the very first podcast event I can participate in and I am beyond excited. I'd even pay more money, if need be, just to be able to go. I know of a few other DISer teachers who are in the same boat and very excited.

I was just coming on here to check for an update on this. I really want to go and would love to start planning and booking. This would be a first for me, as far as cruise in general and DIS event. I really hope this works out!

I'm in serious need of some vacation news to satisfy my OCD to plan. I find it a wonderful stress reliever and it's been a particularly stressful weekend due to some extended family issues.
