For Inquiring Minds - Taxi Fare from US to SW

Just took the taxi from RPR to SW yesterday & here's what we were charged:

RPR to SW - taxi van - $15.60

SW to RPR - taxi - $18.15

The difference in rate was not due to the type of taxi, just the time/route.

Hi,
Just wondering how many were in your taxi? I have to get 7 of us over to Sea World when we go down in Sept. I was thinking about the public bus system, but the van taxi would be more convenient.

We had 6, but I know the taxi van could have accommodated at least 8, so your group would have no problem.

The bell hop called & got us a taxi van to take to Sea World & the van was there in about 3 minutes. I was a little worried that we would have trouble getting a taxi van back from SW, but there were plenty lined up & ready for customers when we exited.

Any idea what the name of either taxi company was?

I'm not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure it was Mears taxi both ways.
