Hi I'm looking for the segment they referred to in the "Podcast-to-Podcast" section last week. In answer to the question funiest segment Pete and Kevin both agreed that "costaguatamexarico" was funiest.
Where can I find this segment?
thanks,
John

I don't think you can find it in the archives.
If I remember correctly, you have to send an e-mail and request it. It is an out-take from a show done with Bob regarding the Naturalization Ceremony. And it is HI LAR IOUS. They are laughing so hard they can't breathe! (NOTE: It might be considered offensive to some, so that is why it is not on the main archives and why it had to be edited out of that show. However, the only person really being made fun of is BOB! :goodvibes )

Thanks!
That explains why I haven't been able to find it!!!
There is an episode listed in the archives that refers to this "country" but neither that show, not the ones on the dates surrounding it have the discussion.
I think I'll send an email today! :thumbsup2

While I dont have access to that particular segement....I will offer a bit of background.
Costaguadamexirico is lifted directly from and episode of Will and Grace.
Karen asks her maid how things are done in Costaguadamexirico.
I will fully admit that this is not my creation and that when I borrow...I borrow from the best.
What happened after that was each podcaster riffing off the others and 3DisneyKids is correct, we couldnt breath. In typical fashion, Bob played the "straight man" and decided the best way to handle the insanity was to just keep plowing through.
Every time he would start the story over again, it made it that much funnier to us.
Was this segemnt in the best taste? Absolutely not.
Was it intended to be offensive or rude? Absolutely not.
Was it original material? Absolutely not. The extra commentary was....but some of that was Will and Grace also.
This was a situation I think most folks find themselves in.....a group of friends got a serious fit of the giggles and it escalated until we couldnt continue.
The difference was...we were being recorded.
If you are hurt or offended by the segement......I truly apologize. It was never our intent.

Absolutely funniest podcast ever.
Curtain match the drapes? ... Hilarious.
Mo-gee-toe? ... Hilarious
Pig doot dropping from the sky? ... Hilarious.
But then there's beyond hilarious .... You know when you laugh so hard your stomach hurts and you seriously can't breath and it kind of scares you for a second.
That was Costaguadamexirico

Yes, I'm pretty sure that I heard it (or part of it) on either the Bob memorial show, or the Best of Bob show from last year, 5/20/08. Very funny. :rotfl2:

If I remember correctly, I believe that after they included it in the tribute show, some people found the segment offensive and complained. (I remember at least one ugly, heated thread about it.) They then edited back out it out.
Too bad. It was funny and, in no way intended to be offensive.

I beg to differ.
"Curtains match the drapes" is by far the funniest podcast segment. I was eating lunch while listening and had to spit my food back in my bowl in order to avoid spraying it all over the room. Thank goodness I was home.
You can't make that stuff up......

Also, check out the DIS Unplugged Index (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1689157) thread to find other "best of" moments. Sadly, it's not been updated in a while, but it still lists some good stuff!

I loved "curtains match the drapes." I think that was the episode that I decided I could never again listen while driving. :lmao:
Costaguadamexirico, even the edited version, was terrifically funny.
