Oooo... I wanna know this too. Can it be done for 8? We're having a very intimate VR with a total of four adults and four kids (under 7) and I'd love to have a Dessert Party but everything looks like you need to have a minimum of 20 people. :(

Yes! I started the thread that Jen posted the link to because when I was planning, there wasn't very much info about it on the DIS. Basically, you work through an event coordinator at your Disney resort, and yes you can do it for just two people.

All the details of costs, options, logistics are in that thread, but I think the info my planner gave me after our party about no longer being able to do hot food at UK Pubside (the location they give small parties) may not apply if your event is in 2010. It seemed like the restrictions were because of 2009's "What Will you Celebrate" promotion.

lurkyloo... Thank you so much for your thread! I've been jealously eyeing up the dessert parties knowing I could never meet the minimum and then I stumbled across this and the search function actually worked for me for once. :lmao:

I've e-mailed my planner to see if I can still do this, what the cost will be, and if there is a cost for outside photography. I've also asked if I can continue to wear my dress for the event (doing a VR earlier that day). I'll report back when she answers me. :)
