Yep, 10 days of pure end of August bliss! :lmao: Staying at POP for reference, which is a first for us, as we usually stay at the mods. We just couldn't pass up the deal though; heck, with POP and free dining, 10 days and 9 nights is running us less than a trip to the shore! :cool1:

Aug 24 to Aug 29th for a second summer return trip! My son got sick during our first trip, came home and fractured his arm. We had airline credits and the flight only cost me $8 to go back so we couldn't pass it up! I cannot wait to be back home again!

The weather here is headed back up into the high 90s right up until we leave. This is good for acclimating, but now I'll be wearing clothes I need to pack right up until we fly out. I guess I'll be doing laundry the night before! Isn't it great to have problems like these!

His left ear is now infected and his throat is really red. He has a terrible congested cough. I sure hope this clears up in 10 days! This month he will have been on antibiotics for 20 days plus a cast for 4 weeks on his right arm.

I just posted another thread about how awesome Disney was for us! They upgraded our tickets to hopper due to the illness that my son had during our last trip! So awesome!

We have been packing off and on for the last week and almost finished packing. Today, my son got sent home from school because he was running a fever. I called the doctor and am taking him in tomorrow to make sure it isn't anything.

Ouch! At least the fever is here now and it should be gone by the time you arrive! My son is battling ear infections with fever as the only symptom. He never gets any pain.

Aww.thanks. It rained so hard yesterday they cancelled his game. The poor guy cried tears. Just his luck this summer!

My packing is finished, and the house is reasonably clean for my sister who's house/pet sitting while were gone. :woohoo: All that's left is finding a good book to take along.

We're out the door about 1:30 p.m. PDT Friday, walk to the nearest neighborhood bus stop, one bus transfer, then transfer to light rail out to the airport. Fly from PDX to LAX, connect to red-eye arriving Sat a.m. at MCO. ME to CSR. Whew, what we'll do for a WDW vacation!

This is the weekend! My Mickey head dashboard countdown counter currently says "1 day, 19 hours and 3 minutes....". (At least until we leave, hence, my countdown banner says 3 days as of this post).

By this time Sunday morning, around 2-3am, we'll be in the car, headed for WDW!!!!:banana: We have a 16-18 hour drive, but we stop overnight in Savannah, so won't actually arrive until Monday. Either way. I don't care. Mickey, here we come again!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Disney just called me again about my letter that I had sent to them so they really were sure to make good and help us out! WOW! I'm so glad that I'm taking my son back. After the 4 weeks of no baseball he deserves a treat.

We're back. Had a great time but boy was it hot! We thought it was hot last June too but it wasn't as humid. We were swimming last night at 11pm and it was so comfortable! Came home to 72 degrees!

I'm home, happy but completely pooped out! Had two DIS sightings at CSR and one in Tomorrowland at the MK. Hope all of you had a great time! We sure did!
