Afternoon all,
As some of you may have read i'm planning my first Paris trip this autumn... and i've now got it narrowed down to two dates, was hoping for some advice on which may be the better for quieter parks?!
3 Adults, staying at the Santa Fe, travelling by Eurostar (booked separately to save over £60 per person!), 3 nights (may do 4 if the current tesco deal is any good), on either:
Sunday 27th September
Sunday 11th October
Both trips come out the same cost (give or take a quid, literally). We won't actually visit the parks on the sunday (weekend, crowds etc), so will be there monday and tuesday effectively. Cost wise, it's cheaper for the hotel in september but more expensive for eurostar than october, and vice versa!
HELP! :surfweb:

If you go on 11th October the Halloween season will be in full flow.
That's the day we are going, we're going to go into the parks as soon as we get off the Eurostar at 1pm. I'm hoping that it wont be too busy in there despite it being a Sunday...? :goodvibes

We're going on the 11th October and always tend to arrive on a Sunday and always head straight into the parks. I couldn't imagine arriving and not doing so - it would be torture :rotfl:

Definitely October for Halloween season. And I agree, couldn't be there and not be in the park! If you have the tickets included, you could always just explore, or do some shows if you don't want to queue for rides.

Oddly, I think we're going to go in September specifically to avoid the Halloween crowds (and October weather) - Halloween doesn't do anything for us i'm afraid!

Another vote for October and Halloween from me I'm afraid. The best time of the year bar none to visit imho.

The parks are quiet early october, we have been the last two years. This is particularly so because you're planning on going mid week. Weather has always been warm. Decorations and shows are great. The attention to detail is fantastic. So don't let crowds put you off. It really is an experience not to be missed:goodvibes

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 - abso-definitely :goodvibes.
I don't do crowds at DLRP, we went last October, midweek, but not half term week, and it was fabulous - okay weather, and no crowds. Absolutely ranks up there with our November midweek Christmas trip in 2007.
