I tried LA several years ago and spend a ton of money, I did lose 20 lbs. I'm thinking about trying it again but I don't have that much money to spend. Does any one know how much it is to join now before I make a appointment?

What was the amount of time it took you to lose the 20 pounds? I am stgarting to look into jenny Craig, Nutrasystem, isagenix, etc......and am wondering about how long I would need to "on" these.

It usually takes me (short, unathlectic, female) 2-4 months to lose 20 pounds once I start following a diet. I usually cheat a little. Most national diet companies claim to help you lose 3-5 pounds the first week, 1-2 pounds a week, thereafter.

I spent a fortune on LA weight loss only to have them tell me that they couldn't guarantee anything if I didn't eat their bars (which are $$$). I tried to explain to them that I don't eat HFCS which all of their bars (at least at the time) contained. After having it out with the manager at our local store I just stopped going

OH MY GOSH I SPENT LIKE $600 for them and lost like, 2 pounds. They did NOT like that I was a vegetarian and kept telling me I needed to eat meat etc.

Seriously you are looking at spending aton of money. THey guarantee nothing without the bars and strict adherance to one of the most insane diets I have ever been on. All the money is made by selling you the exras and you are supposed to spend at least $60-80 extra per week for the "guides" to be on target for their sales goals. As a person who has tried them twice, regaining it all back plus, both times I would seek an alternative.
