Which activity in the lab did your child really love? Or maybe it's an excursion that your child in this age group really enjoyed? Any "don't miss" ideas would be appreciated!

Oh, by the way, I should have specified which ship and itinerary. We are doing a 3 day cruise this January, and then going on the Magic (eastern) for Easter and lastly the Magic (western) for Christmas 2003. So, ideas for any of these cruises or all would be appreciated!:bounce:

My two children (8 and 9) LOVED the Mickey 200 car race. You make a car out of a potato and 2 carrots, then race them. Everyone gets a pin and the winners get a gold medal. They also loved snorkeling at Truck Bay, and playing on the beach at Dawn Beach(St Martin)and of course the pool, the arcade, the ping pong, the movies, pin trading, the unlimited ice cream....heck, the loved it all!

Is Quackamation learning to draw the characters? Animation? Is this taught in the lab or is it a family activity somewhere else?

quackamation is done in the lab. Actually they took the kids to Animator's Palate. They learned how to draw donald duck, and also a couple other animation tricks.

If you are doing the western caribbean cruise, Stingray city is amazing. If your child likes to be in the water this is amazing. THey come right up to you and brush against you. Spectacular. Kids love it and so do adults. We did it with the Red Baron Charter group and it was so cool.
