I am from the Seattle area. You definitely don't meet a lot of westcoasters in the world.
Most of my friends haven't been to WDW.

In Hillsboro, Oregon here. I definitely don't meet a lot of "World" travellers here in Oregon. Mostly Disneyland-ers.

But oddly enough, of the 10 people I work with 2 of them have lived in the Tampa area, St. Pete and Clearwater, they used to go to WDW a lot when they were kids and another girl I work with goes often, about once every 2-3 years... she goes to South Africa a lot.

But other than that, no one I know.

I see a lot of Mickey antennas but I suspect a lot of them are DLers.

I'm in Bakersfield. I go to DL a lot, but I also visit WDW. I will be going back in Jan. for the Marathon.

I live in SoCal with my kids. I grew up in Anaheim, less than 3 miles from Disneyland. The kids and I have had Disneyland passes for many years and love to go whenever we get a chance.

We have been to WDW 3 times and have reservations for January 2010 for our 4th trip. :cool1:

Back in 1982, we both were in the Air Force and stationed in Florida. She arrived two weeks after me and we were assigned as roommates. We worked in the same job (though different squadrons) and have been best friends from the moment we met!

Most of our lives have been spent living very far apart.....but it's like having a sister....no matter what or where....you are there for each other!

there is a DIS friend that lives in Casa Grande, so that might work sometime as a meeting place. Kind of 50-50.

I'm in Portland, Oregon. I've been to Disneyland many times, but WDW for the first time last year. That trip was my reason for discovering and lurking on the DIS. :disrocks:

We definitely have the WDW bug and would love to try to squeeze another trip in the fall.

not quite sure WHAT you were trying to say.

its a long story.

part of it is that my birthday is "International talk like a pirate day"

The Grumpy part is an almalgam of various situations in which I lose patience with stupidity and morons, among other reasons. I have a perchant to speak my mind and do not suffer fools.

there are other reasons for my title relating to seagoing experience, but cannot be shared with pollywogs!

Howdy from the geographic center of California. I usually alternate annual visits to DLR and WDW. This year it's DLR. BTW, spent a year or so at DMAFB, Tucson, AZ and 12 years in Sandy Eggo, CA.

:) Hi. I'm Gina and I live in Salem, Oregon with my 2 sons who are 13.5 and 16.5.

Glad to "meet" some other West Coasters!!

So, do you guys stick to your West Coast body clocks when you go to WDW? We do and we love that we never have trouble getting ADR's! An undesirable 9:00pm ADR is like eating dinner at 6:00pm for us so we love it!
