I have some time and wanted to get some idea for some new exchanges.
Who would be interested in any of these.
Exchange participation has been way down, so hopefully we can find some things to get some interest back again.
Poll coming ;)

I choice other. My vote goes for a June scrapbooking exchange. I know you have one at the ending of July, but how about one for this month :).

Has a Hobby exchange ever been done? It would be wide open.
State your hobby. Collecting things, cooking, scrapbooking, reading mysteries, knitting, whatever.
Send something to your partner that has to do with their hobby interest. You could also send your partner something from your hobby. If someone bakes as a hobby..... I like peanutbutter cookies!
Just a thought.

I remember a couple of months ago that Spookysarah mentioned a Tacky Tourist Exchange, things that you wouldn't be caught dead buying, but the tourist's flock to in droves. Might be a fun one, and wouldn't cost alot of money to do. Have a great day! Unfortunately food exchanges are out for me, as I've found that I can't send food across the border, and it's just not worth the hassles. I haven't been able to get a clear answer to sending food across the border, and because of this I can't get involved with the food exchanges, as much as i'd like to. Have a great day!

Tacky Tourist sounds like fun. I have some things of my own, besides looking through the old lost and found bins. ;) :lmao:
I listed a few other ideas on another thread also.

Seems like many of us enjoy doing Disney related exchanges, here's a couple of ideas that come to mind for exchanges:
Disney movies (DVD), Disney music (cds), Disney Christmas ornaments, Disney clothes (t-shirts, socks, etc), Disney beach related items, Disney kitchen items, Disney mugs as mention above
I love anything Disney, so I would do just about every Disney exchange

I love these ideas! I've been very selective lately on what exchanges I'm doing--but I'd probably do almost all of these.
I know I've been doing less exchanges this year--I'm watching my spending so I'm trying to do lower cost exchanges. And with the increase in postage, I am being very picky.

Looks like Disney mugs is doing well.
How easy is it to find Disney kitchen without going to Disney? I don't think I have looked besides the Disney Store and and the online store. That does make it harder for some people.
And if I made the July ornament only Disney ornaments, would we be able to find them? I know Hallmark will have theirs, but will any place else?

I've voted! I haven't been around here that long but have done a few exchanges here & lots in the UK community section. They are such great fun. :cool1:
I really want to do a treat exchange (I missed one a few months back) - I would love to receive lots of snacks & chocolate etc from over the pond.
I am looking forward to the scrapbook one next month too. :thumbsup2

With the disney ornaments.. I am a collector.. You can get new ones on ebay all year long and the disney outlet online has a few.

How about if we do a combo of July ornament??
You can request that you want Disney ones? That way we would have enough playing if we do both....either Disney only, or people with other interests or no preference?
I could get that scheduled for mid July? Does that work?
