We are eating at the Yachtsman Steakhouse next week. We are on the regular dining plan-I know the meal is 2 table service, but wondering if we can order anything on the menu or if there is a max $ amount per entree on the plan. Any suggestions on what to order? We'll be celebrating our 10 yr. anniversary.

You can order whatever you want :). I love the steaks at the YSH! Just order your favorite cut of steak and you'll be fine.

We've never eaten there, but I would definitely mention to the host/waiter that you're celebrating your 10 year anniversary. Not sure they would do anything special, but you never know! :thumbsup2

When we went in March we ate at Yachtsman for the very first time. We were also on the dining plan (standard) so we were hopeful that it would exceed all of our expectations. It definitely did. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and it was just incredible and DH ordered the porterhouse and was likewise amazed. I will say, though, that I wasn't crazy about the marrow that was accompanied with my steak, and I wish I would have thought to substitute that for the french fries that came with DH's steak - - which were very good. Happy eating! :goodvibes

MARROW???? Oh my!!! :scared: As in BONE marrow? Okay, call me stupid...I'm just a beef-eatin' Texas girl, but I've never been served marrow w/ my steaks (& I've had alot of steaks!) :rotfl: Is it just a fancy-schmancy thing?
