Can anyone give me anymore details on the FD that was offered to Visa cardholders for last December? I know it was not announced until September but I was wondering what the minimum night stay was. TIA

Free dining is always a 3 night minimum

Does anyone know what the days were. We have ressies for 11/29-12/6 with a 40%, but really want free dining. I am willing to change the dates if necessary.

According to mousesavers, last year's December Visa free dining became available on Sept. 18, for check-ins between 9/28-12/20.

wow-- I would change my dates in a heartbeat to go later.
But FD for regular people only went to Sept 20th last year--this year its going until Oct 3rd.

We checked in on the 20th but said to the 26, we got FD for our entire stay.

Oh man! We have planned to go the last week of October and I thought maybe we could get FD but not according to last year's Visa FD. Were there any room or package discounts for October last year? I don't think DH can change his vacation week. :eek:

Yes, there were other deals for that last week of October time period last year that came out in August and September. Some had Black Out dates of November 26 – 28 and December 3 – 12, 2008, but none in your last week of October timeframe :)

These are now expired of course :goodvibes but they included:
(rates are samples only, rates could change with season and/or weekends)

AP room only (Sample rates: select Value Resorts for $54+, Moderate Resorts from $99+, Fort Wilderness cabins: $174 per night, Deluxe Villa resorts (studio): $169 per night and Deluxe Resorts from $+184 per night) *You could also book this as AP package.

FL Res room only (Sample rates Value resorts, standard room: $54 - $84 Value resorts, preferred room: $66 - $96 Moderate resorts, standard view room: $104 - $134 Moderate resorts, water view/king bed room: $120 - $159 Wilderness Lodge, standard view room: $165 - $205 Beach Club, standard view room: $265 - $325 Polynesian, garden view room: $280 - $370)

Yes, if you check in on the last day of the free dining promo, you are given the free dining discount for your entire stay, up to 14 days.
