Tell me what you think? Did you use the plan? Was it worth it?

It was fine for us.
But, it also took some planning especially for the children - 6 and 9. In many places the choices for them were either chicken strips, hot dog, hamburger or pizza. What we started doing was finding places with large combo meals for the adults and then splitting them with the kids to supplement their meals.
Morocco and Japan were great for this and the kids found out they loved lamb and ginger cake. El Perita in MK we would get the taco salad and with all the fixings do a huge salad and add some of that to the little quesadilla they got with grapes and carrots. We used our snack credits for food most often and carried water with us so snacks were plentiful.
Hope this helps some. :)

No. From what I have read here and elsewhere Disney does not track the credits. They put a total number of counter service meals on your account and they don't differentiate between a child or adult one.

We drive (yes, 22 hours) so we took water bottles with us and each person carried one in the parks. Ice water is also free at all CS places.
We did all different kinds of snacks. We did popcorn, giant pretzels (Germany), pastries (France) and Goofy Candy co. (DTD). We went to Casey's corner for fries and small chili (make your own chili fries!). Ice cream and Dole Whips. There is a sticky with all the snacks listed that you can get at each place.
When I made my index card for each day (I even laminated them this time) I put suggested snack places and what would be the best snacks for the park we were going to be at each day.:)

We did QS in Feb. As another poster said, it is fine. We were not in the mood for a trip that had to be planned down to the minute, and for us QS worked well for this reason. However, by the end of the week, we were missing our TS meals. We're going on the regular dining plan in August.
