hi folks

still trying to find out the best way to get internet access at newport bay.

I called the hotel to clarify exactly where we could access, and they mentioned the admiral floor.

When i went back in to the disney site to book for the dates we are there, it seems to be only an extra £20 to upgrade to the admiral floor, which has wifi in the rooms. Does this sould right?

And has anyone upgraded after their booking and how easy is it? Is it possible?

Thanks
Susan

I think you can get wifi in the rooms on the Admiral floor but it is payable not free. Its just in certain hotels the wifi is only in public areas

I'd say go for it for £20! You will have to pay to log on though.

that's what i thought! I know we'll still have to pay, but it means we can get onlione from our room once DD is asleep, instead of DH having to go down to the public areas, etc - and DH isn't too confirdent using the laptop (my toy mainly!) so it means I can help him if needed.

Gonna call them first thing tomorrow!

so, I called the hotel this morning re upgrade - they quoted me 148 euros to upgrade!

I rthen called central reservations, who quoted me £71 - this is with the 40% off - it would appear it's an extra £20 PER NIGHT. So for the 4 nights we are there, plus the internet access, it wouls cost us about an extra £100!

So back to the drawing board!
