I was just wondering if anyone has been in this cabin before. Is there a decent hair dryer or do I need to bring one from home ?
Also, we picked it because we wanted to be centrally located and near the kids clubs. We all (DH, DS8, DD5) sleep like logs so I'm not worried about noise.
Is it worth waiting for elevators or are the stairs the best bet ?
Thanks! Laurie

We were in 5013 which is in a similar area to where you will be, just the opposite side. We had no noise from the kids club there. Also, we always took the stairs unless we had the carriage with us. Even then sometimes I would walk while DH rode with the kids. I didnt need to be taking up elevator space from someone who may need it, and being centrally located no walk, up or down, was too far. We thought it was a great deck to stay on! Enjoy! :D

Thanks CamColt, I can't stand waiting for elevators if I can take the stairs.
I'm still trying to decide if I need my hairdryer though. I hate to pack one if I don't need it.
I've heard the hairdryers are not great and that someone didn't even have one.

I thought hairdryers were in all bathrooms. We had one in our cat 11 room. I never used it because I dried my hair out at the mirror over the desk. What Ive heard people say is that they dont have much power to them. So, if you are like me and have very thick hair, it might take a while using the one provided and you might want to bring your own.
Hope that helps!

Thanks CamColt. I think I'm going to borrow a small travel hair dryer just in case. My hair is thick and I 'm not crazy about hats. :D

Noise from the Kids' Clubs is not a factor with any of the rooms on Deck 5. The clubs both face the Atrium near the Midships stairs/elevators. The forward rooms and aft rooms are pretty well-separated from all the public areas on Deck 5.

Thanks Dave!
I'm not worried about DH,DS, and DD being bothered by noise. They sleep through anything! I'm sure I'll be fine too. I'm hard of hearing. :D I guess that's why I was ok with booking a cabin on deck 5. I just really wanted to be close to the kids clubs. I see us carrying two very sleepy kids back at night.
