The doctor told me that some blood tests I had had done had come back abnormal and needed to be repeated to see if I am anemic. Do you know how long ago I had these tests done??? :confused3

That is very odd, did you query why?
I have read before that some doctors need to put through a certain numbers of tests etc to qualify for certain funding etc the following year.

I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia last year. The doctor said, 'You must have had b12 injections before, according to these past results'. I had never had these injections - she was shocked as the file/document she was looking at was from when I was 19.
I'm 38.:lmao:

Nope they had never tried to contact me, I've been to the doctors twice since 2005 so they could have told me then :upsidedow

Thats terrible. I have lost faith in GP's especially mine to the point i'm looking at changing surgeries. My nan's GP was as disgrace in that he misdiagnosed for years.
Also now I work in the ambulance service it has certainly opened my eyes to GP's!

I had mine done yesterday morning, had the results back this morning however I did ring for the results! and was told all was normal thank god..it's been a worrying day's wait really.
But that is appauling,I do know if it's not URGENT marked they get filed until you ring they don't ring you unless it's an emergency (NHS eh)..I would query why you haven't heard though..that's some wait,I'm glad it didn't show anything up worrying.:scared1:
